Huguan fitness
On the way from Anyang to Jincheng, there is no need to mention the scenery if you want to cross Taihang Mountain. After the Huguan Grand Canyon, continue to ride to the west. After passing through n villages, I stopped at the roadside. Because I saw a blue brick martyrs pavilion on the roadside, and the monument was engraved with: Revolutionary Martyrs Monument. This should be the hero who died in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. Below the roadbed is a village at the foot of a high mountain. Standing on a high place, I can see many old houses with blue bricks and gray tiles in the village, so I decided to visit the village. It happened that an old man came by the roadside and talked with him. The old man is from the village, and I don't know much about pure and poor Shanxi dialect. I didn't catch the name of the village. He told me that there are indeed several quadrangles in the village for more than 200 years. After thanking the old man, I walked down a narrow cement fork in front of the roadbed and entered the village.

The village is located on the Taihang Mountain in the southeast of Huguan County, Changzhi City. The village is located in a narrow and similar basin. Just entering the village, the cement road winds down, and going down is the village center, which is also a leisure fitness square with several simple fitness facilities. The village loudspeaker is playing pop songs from the 1990s. Several old people sat side by side in front of a seven-room-wide two-story building, and there was a tricycle selling things in the village. Two old ladies are joking in front of the car.

At first glance, I saw the two-story old house, with blue bricks and gray tiles, so long, sitting there alone, with the vast Taihang Mountain behind it. I couldn't help but get excited and asked an uncle around me about the origin of this building. Then several people talked about the house, and finally they didn't know its specific age and age, only that the owner was not at home and had been idle. I went up to the second floor along a stone step outside, and there was an elm door on the roof, which was locked.

Downstairs, several people stared at me with curious eyes. I had to take the initiative to introduce myself, haha, just say: I like ancient buildings, come and see your old house! A lively and cheerful aunt asked me: What happened to our old house? I said yes again and again. There is also an old house next to this building. They told me that this house has a history of more than one hundred years. I went in to visit.

The gate of this courtyard is connected with the inverted building, which looks like a door is opened directly on the inverted building. The doors are bluestone doorframes, elm doors, adobe walls and grey tile roofs. After entering the yard, a decadent and desolate scene came into view. Branches and weeds scattered in the patio, and the house was in disrepair and almost collapsed. It's still in the main room facing south on the second floor.

In the rural areas of Xishan, almost all houses, including east and west wing rooms and inverted wing rooms, are two-story structures. Compared with the quadrangle on the first floor, the second floor obviously improves the living space and is more suitable for generations to live together. But as far as access is concerned, it is not as convenient as the first floor. In fact, there is no shortage of homesteads in mountainous areas, and I don't know why Shanxi people have a soft spot for two-story buildings.

Similarly, this courtyard has been neglected for a long time because of the absence of its owner, so that it is so desolate and even dangerous.

It was the same uncle when he came out. He said that there is one of the oldest courtyards in the village, and he wanted to show it to me himself. I was very happy to follow him through this fitness square to a south alley. He said that this yard has been around for more than 200 years. The courtyard door is unlocked, and the narrow single-room gatehouse is a bit stingy. But after going in, I found that this is a binary courtyard, which is relatively spacious and should be a big family.

The lower floor of the main room of the first hospital is a blue brick voucher door mainly made of stone, which is very simple. The upper wall is adobe and painted with white powder. Because the white powder fell, the earth wall inside was exposed. The roof is covered with gray tiles. The bluestone on the stone base is huge and engraved with patterns. Uncle Ju said that this first house has been around for more than 200 years. Uncle led me to the yard for a while, and then left, leaving me alone to watch slowly.

In fact, what can I understand! I have a little knowledge of ancient buildings, just taking some photos. There is another yard behind this yard, but there is no upside-down room in both yards, only a passage connects them together. The first room in the backyard is also on the second floor, with stone-green bricks and gray tiles, which look quite new, and the Spring Festival couplets are posted on the door. Obviously, the first house was newly built. The east and west wing rooms are dilapidated adobe houses, which are in great contrast with the main room. The patio is paved with blue bricks, and the grass grows in the cracks of the bricks. Apparently, the master hasn't come back for a long time.

After seeing this yard, I left the village because there was still a long way to go. In fact, people in Taihang Mountain still maintain a traditional way of life, and their lives are still miserable. Although the air, scenery and other natural conditions are suitable for human habitation, the ideal of getting rid of poverty has made the aborigines leave their homes and get farther and farther away from their hometown, so that they are lost in the red dust.
