How to jump rope?
Part 1: Keep the same posture as the parallel foot jump. Like other advanced skipping movements, the cross jump requires us to keep the same skipping posture as the leg jump: the core is tightened, the inner arm is clamped, and the elbow is backward. Keep your knees slightly flexed and your forefoot on the ground. Don't jump too high, just let the rope pass under your feet. Body in the air, straight up and down. The difference between cross jump and synchronous jump lies in hand movements, but they require the same hand movements, that is, the forearm is driven by the wrist to wave the rope.

The second part: the "international practice" of hand movements. Put the rope aside and let's practice hand movements first. Put your legs together and cross your hands slowly in front of your abdomen. When crossing the road, you can put your left hand on top of your right hand, or you can put your right hand on top of your left hand, just choose the one that suits you.

The third part: after practicing with rope, you can pick up the skipping rope and try to jump with the rope. Like jumping with your feet together, hold your chest, look forward, put your feet together slightly, wave the rope, and when the rope is over your head, slowly cross your hands in the direction of your abdomen. After crossing, check whether your hands are attached to your abdomen and whether your thumb is pointing behind your body. In order to increase the area of rope arc, you can hold your chest and lean forward slightly when crossing. You can find your own rhythm by practicing the action of crossing the rope more.
