Fixed cages have the characteristics of low cost, simple operation, convenient management and strong wind resistance, and are suitable for shallow lakes and rivers in reservoir areas with relatively stable water levels.
3. Submerged type
Submerged cages are mostly used for overwintering fry or adult fish in northern China. As the name implies, the whole cage is completely submerged in water, and the effective volume of the cage is not affected by the change of water level. There are few organisms attached to the net coat, but it is not convenient for feeding and daily operation and management.
