The new hospital will be located in E- 1 plot of Dongjiang New Town, Dahuxi, Huicheng District, covering an area of 52,000 square meters and a construction area of 94,000 square meters. The new hospital will have 720 beds and 16 wards, including internal medicine, surgery and orthopedics. After many arguments and discussions, the design scheme of the new hospital has been basically determined, and the construction project has been included in one of the key projects in Huizhou during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan. It is planned that the new hospital of Huizhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital with high standard and high starting point will be officially delivered in 2009.
