How to communicate effectively with tutors
Seriously finish what the teacher gives you that seems to have nothing to do with your paper. Teachers often assign you some work based on their intuitive understanding of you and think that you are suitable for something. Maybe others have the same impression of you, maybe this is an advantage that you don't realize yourself. Seriously and consciously developing these knowledge and skills will make you a person with special skills. 3) There are two kinds of contact with teachers: formal and informal. I really need to make an appointment. I really have something to ask. Informal includes passing by the teacher's door, saying hello and chatting. Sometimes it is this unintentional insertion that may bring many opportunities and resources, and you can also get some unexpected guidance. 4) Don't do what the tutor says. Sometimes a task assigned to you by your tutor means asking for directions, because you want to explore your potential. Therefore, by exchanging interests and ideas with the tutor, it is convenient for the teacher to assign you the opportunities you want and do what you want. 5) Remember that whenever you encounter problems in your research, you can go directly to the tutor's office for help, even if you think it is your own problem. Another advantage of doing this is to let the teacher know that your progress is stagnant because of problems, not busy with other things. During the postgraduate period, students should learn three things: 1) to establish a reasonable knowledge structure: to dabble in the basic knowledge of the subject as widely as possible and to understand all aspects, past and present of the research field as deeply as possible; 2) Master the methods and skills of independent research; Learn as many research methods as possible and master the research process and steps skillfully; 3) Learn to write a paper: Writing a paper is not only to train expression ability, but also to train thinking logic. However, it is an effective structure to organize your thoughts and communicate with others. If you can follow these three requirements, it doesn't matter whether you do this major after graduation, because your research quality has been established, and you can do whatever you want.
