According to official website of Xinjiang Medical University, as of July 18, 2023, Xinjiang Medical University had four campuses: the headquarters, the nursing college, the clinical medical college and Hou Bo College. Xinjiang Medical University is studying acupuncture and tuina in the College of Nursing, which is located in Xinyi Road, Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Nursing College is located in Youhao South Road, Shayibake District, Urumqi. Clinical Medical College is located in Shengli Road, and Hou Bo College is located in Liyushan Road. Xinjiang Medical University, located in Urumqi, Xinjiang, is the only independent medical college in Xinjiang. It is a demonstration base for universities established by provincial ministries, a pilot university for excellent doctoral education and training programs, a university for overseas students to receive scholarships from the China government, and the first batch of universities in Xinjiang to study in China.
