The research paper published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition confirmed that curry helps to reduce postprandial insulin response, promote energy metabolism, make people consume more calories and promote fat oxidation, thus helping to prevent obesity.

Studies show that people who eat curry are likely to be thinner than those who don't eat curry when eating the same amount of food. But what if you eat an extra bowl of rice because of curry? The researchers did not give an answer. I believe that the slimming effect of curry is unlikely to offset the fattening effect of a bowl of rice.
