What is the use of ending mode in Excel?
If you often repeat a task in Microsoft Excel, you can use macros to automatically perform the task. Macros are a series of commands and functions, which are stored in Visual Basic modules and can be run at any time when tasks need to be performed. For example, if you often enter a long text string in a cell, you can create a macro to format the cell so that the text can wrap automatically.

Macro commands can be formed by recording in a worksheet. When recording a macro, Excel stores every step of the process when you execute a series of commands. You can then run a macro to repeat the recorded process or "play back" these commands. If you make a mistake while recording a macro, your changes will also be recorded. Visual Basic stores each macro in a new module attached to the workbook.

You can select the desired macro from the list in the Macro dialog box and run it. If you want to run a macro by clicking a specific button or pressing a specific key combination, you can assign the macro to a toolbar button, keyboard shortcut, or graphic object in the worksheet.
