This paper lists Maud's core skills and how to use them in version 6.2, which is called output cycle. We will also explain in detail how to use your various big moves. If you want to be proficient in field combat, let's go one step further and explain all the details you should know.
About this article
This guide was perfected and maintained by Stenhaldi of the Winter Solstice Association, one of the most powerful cats in the world.
1. Single objective loop
Maud's output revolves around maintaining various BUFF and deBUFF, generating combo points, and using terminal technology to consume combo points.
Priority of star rescue skills
1. Use oblique scanning, and maintain the bleeding effect on the target with 100% (every 15S).
2. Use Moonfire to keep the point effect on the target 100% (every 14 seconds, if you click the talent of Moonsoul).
Use shredded paper
Priority of terminal technology
1. Use and keep a savage roar.
2. Use and maintain five-star separation
When the target's blood volume is less than 25%, use a snap to refresh the split of the target. Use fierce bite when combo points reach five, unless the split on the target is about to disappear.
3. With a fierce bite (when the target's blood volume is above 25%), when the energy is above 50, the chopping, slanting and savage growling will not end so soon.
In single target output, if you slam when the warning is triggered, there will be a small amount of DPS upgrade, but please don't slam in other cases. When you use the Jungle Soul and Blood Claw Strike talent (give up the avatar), please don't slam a single target under any circumstances.
Knowing the correct cycle and putting it into practice only requires a little in-depth understanding, so we strongly recommend that you read the following details.
1. 1 starting style
Below, we will list the ideal way to start:
1. Countdown to 5, read a healing touch, if you click on the Bloody Claw talent.
2. Countdown to 1. Use Draenor Agility Potions and Avatar: King of the Jungle, if you click on this talent.
3. After opening the monster, use oblique scanning to start your skill cycle.
4. Tear it after two rounds.
5. Use Fury, Tiger Fury, and make a five-star split (if two black faces don't reach five stars, make another one until there are five combo points).
6. Continue your regular output cycle.
It is worth noting that this kind of starting technique is the embodiment of using it before opening a monster. You can enter stealth or not, which brings little change to DPS, but the way of not sneaking is simpler.
If you don't have the gain of bloodthirsty/hero/time warp, start the Rage Tiger after one shredding, and then save the next shredding to five stars.
2. Multi-objective cycle
In the face of multi-target combat, you should always keep your savage roar BUFF time maximized.
2-3 long-term survival targets of the target, keep oblique grazing and lunar fire on each high-priority target, and cover bash (low priority) at the same time. In the face of two goals, the rest of the time is to tear up the savior, and multiple goals are to sweep the savior. If there is a chance, you will divide the five stars equally.
The long-term survival target of 4-8 targets covers the high-priority targets with one beat, and the points of oblique grazing and moon fire are reserved. If there is a chance, you will divide the five stars equally.
9 long-term survival goals above AOE, continue to fight, sweep, and split five stars when you have the opportunity.
3 goals and above short-term AOE, keep cleaning, spend five stars on biting.
As for the battle with a main target (such as BOSS) and some low-priority ADD, you have the following two options:
Keep your unit cycle on high-priority goals and cover all the goals to beat them. If there are more than five secondary targets, the chopping position in the monomer cycle is replaced by cleaning.
Keep your unit cycle on high-priority goals and give up other secondary bonuses.
3. Skill cooling
You have two cooling skills that affect DPS.
Tiger Wrath: Physical damage caused to you is increased by 15% for 8S. Immediately recover 60 physical strength and cool for 30S. This skill should be used as soon as it cools down, but always be careful not to overflow your energy.
Berserker: Cut your energy consumption in half in 15 second and cool for 3 minutes. This skill should be used as much as possible in the whole battle. Ideally, it should be combined with tiger anger, which we will talk about in the following guidelines.
In addition, your talent also gives you two cooling skills that are beneficial to DPS, which we will talk about in the next advanced section.
4. Selected readings: Mastering your cat talent
As I have told you above, as a cat, you need to know everything to play a competitive DPS. However, to truly master this specialization, you need to master more details as follows.
4. 1 combo points and energy
Most of Maud's skills need to consume energy. Your maximum energy is 100, and you recover 10 points per second. Your energy recovery speed is due to your quick melee.
Some skills will generate combo points. Other skills, which we call finishing skills, consume combo points. The more combo points the finishing skill consumes, the greater its power (or the longer its duration). Your combo point generation benefits from rage passivity. When your savior skill crits, it will produce two combo points.
4.2 Details of Monomer Cycle
The essence of Maode cycle is to find a balance between covering the bleeding effect and maintaining its own savage roar, and constantly produce and consume combo points.
4.2. 1 bleeding skills
You should always try your best to maintain 100% coverage of the target.
Oblique grazing can be used only by energy, and it is very simple to control.
Split consumes energy and combo points, and you should always use it only at 5 stars.
Brushing also provides a bleeding effect, but this skill is generally not used unless a clear omen is triggered.
If you click the Moon Spirit talent, you should also keep 100% coverage of the target. Obviously, this is just a dot and not a bleeding effect, but for consistency, we also put it here.
A savage roar
Savage Roar is a self-gain skill that increases physical damage by 40%. It takes a certain amount of energy to use, and the duration depends on how many combo points you consume to use.
In essence, its damage enhancement effect has nothing to do with the combo points consumed, but you should use it when the star is high to make your cycle smoother.
You must always keep a savage and growling fan on you.
4.3 What shall I do for the rest of the time?
When your bleeding and your BUFF skills have been completely covered and you don't need to refresh them in a short time, fill them with broken stars and bite them when you have enough energy.
Slanting can also get some combo points, although this number is very small compared with shredding.
4.2.4 Energy management
There is a lot of free time in the monomer cycle, which means that you should not always rush to release energy. Use it only when you find the right time. (such as emptying energy before the arrival of the tiger, etc. Otherwise, ideally, please save energy.
At the same time, please spend the first time to avoid being wasted by the next trigger.
4.2.5 When to refresh bleeding?
Your bleeding no longer snaps your character attributes like a mop. In other words, only those buffs with damage gain skills still provide snapshots, so you should use as many buffs as possible to develop your bleeding skills.
Snapshots of the following BUFF skills still exist:
A savage roar;
Tiger's anger;
Bloody claw strike;
Stealth enhanced oblique grazing;
This means that if you hit or refresh bleeding when the gain BUFF is more, it will increase your DPS, which is a consistent tradition of Maude. There are two factors that determine whether to refresh this bleeding, one is the duration of bleeding, and the other is the intensity of the current BUFF.
Considering the bleeding duration, the duration will not be lost if the oblique scan is refreshed with a duration of less than 4.5S (however, even if you refresh the oblique scan with a duration of more than 4.5S, the DPS loss is very small). Split below 7.2S, refresh will not lose time. It is worth mentioning that when the target is below 25%, you should always cover a new fracture with the gain of the tiger's angry blood claw attack as soon as possible and refresh it with a fierce bite. If you click on the Moon Spirit talent, you should refresh the Moon Fire skill with a duration of less than 4.2S.
As for the current strength of BUFF, only oblique grazing is worthy of attention. Whenever the new oblique grazing is better than the current oblique grazing (for example, there is a covered tiger), you should refresh it.
You need a plug-in to help you judge the strength of BUFF. Droodfocus is highly recommended. )
4.2.6 When to refresh savage roar
When to refresh savage roar is not very strict, but you should try to refresh it when it is about to disappear, so as not to waste its duration.
When your duration is 5 stars or less 12S, refreshing savage roar will not lose any duration. Keeping this in mind is of great benefit to your circulation.
4.2.7 bite
Fierce bite is a finishing skill that consumes 25 points of energy, and its damage depends on how many combo points you consume to use. Fierce biting also consumes extra energy (up to 25 points) to increase damage, with a maximum of 100%. That is to say, the biting damage of 50 energy is twice as much as that of 25 energy, but at the same time it only consumes 5 combo points.
Any time you use a fierce bite, the target below 25% HP will split and refresh. The player provides a more effective way to separate the targets, which means that you are bleeding continuously with five combo points and causing instant damage at the same time. The damage of refreshing the split depends on the snapshot at the time of casting (the number of stars consumed by casting the split and the gain at that time, not the number of stars bitten by refreshing the split and the gain when biting).
You should always use a five-star fierce bite, except in one case-when your goal reaches HP below 25% and you can't hit all five stars before your split disappears, then use a fierce bite immediately regardless of the combo points.
Waiting for the energy to reach 50 points before biting (provided that it will not interrupt the separation of your) is a DPS ascension point. As we mentioned, if you have enough energy, chopping and slanting will not disappear immediately, then use biting, even if the target blood volume exceeds 25%.
4.3 Detailed usage of big moves
How to use your two cooling skills is very important for Maud's DPS performance.
4.3. 1 Anger of the Tiger
There are some things to pay attention to when to use Tiger Wrath:
Be sure to use it immediately after cooling.
Before using Tiger Anger, make sure your energy is as little as possible to avoid overflowing after gaining 60 points of energy.
angry
Berserker reduces the energy consumption of all your skills by 50%. This is a very powerful cooling skill that allows you to use it more frequently when you activate it.
You should use rage as much as possible in a battle (instead of getting stuck in a CD as much as possible, please think about it). Ideally, you should store about 50~80 energy before turning on the rage, in case the energy is exhausted during the rage. If you are in a bloodthirsty/hero/time warp BUFF, you don't need to store energy, you can turn on rage at any time.
In addition, the best case is that there is a tiger's wrath gain when you turn on Fury (it will be easier to have professional jewelry). )
4.3.3 Fourth-tier talents
Incarnation: The King of the Jungle should use it immediately after cooling, or reserve it for use in the fixed-point explosion stage. Make sure Fury opens during Avatar: King of the Jungle.
Refresh your skew immediately after opening the avatar, and refresh your skew when the avatar is about to disappear. This is because the avatar has doubled the damage of oblique grazing (Delano passively strengthens oblique grazing). Avatars also greatly enhance the damage of shredding (double critical strike rate).
Choose force of nature talent, your first task is to ensure that the top-up of the tree is not wasted, so you always cast the tree when the top-up is approaching level 3. Tree people will use oblique grazing, just like their own oblique grazing, it will not snapshot its own attributes. Therefore, the best time to use jewelry is when it is just triggered, so that their oblique grazing will eat up the gain of the whole jewelry duration.
4.3.4 Sixth-level talents
Level 6 talent will not affect your DPS at all, but it will allow you to make better contributions outside DPS, especially to other team members.
If you dream of Cenarius, you should always use healing touch and rejuvenation on other players, not yourself.
The guardians of nature don't need any planning. After opening, you just need to continue your DPS loop.
4.3.5 The seventh layer of talent
The occasion of using the Moon Elf has been discussed above. In short, keep the moon fire as long as possible on multiple targets.
Bloody Claw Strike will increase the damage of two melee skills by 30% after you use Healing Touch. Ideally, one is used for finishing skills and the other is used for oblique scanning.
You need to keep the predator's swift BUFF until you have 4-5 stars, and then use your instant healing touch to consume it and trigger two layers of blood claws to hit BUFF. Blood claws hit buff for 30 seconds, so once triggered, there is enough time to consume. Since the quickness of predators only lasts 12S, it will make your output more handy to play the finishing skills at high energy as much as possible.
In the case of AOE, leave your blood claws to BUFF to fight, not other finishing skills.
4.4T 18 bonus sets
If you have 4T 18, you will be more inclined to play high-energy skills when triggering a clear omen. For example, if there is no bash on the target, it is almost inevitable to bump into bash when a clear omen is triggered. To take another extreme example, after triggering a clear omen, it takes the same energy to fight again and just bite.
At the same time, if you have 4T 18, then you should try to avoid energy saving above 60%. Even if you have an upper energy limit of 120, it is easy for you to overflow energy after a clear omen is triggered (not to mention continuous triggering). If you have no reason to save energy, please use it at once.
4.5 boxes of soul ornaments
In most cases, the soul box is Maud's best choice. If you are using this ornament, please remember two points.
First, make one
/Cancel Laura's daylights out
Macro is necessary. It allows you to actively cancel the nihilistic damage absorption effect and instantly explode the absorbed damage. For example, use this macro when jewelry is about to explode and you have to leave the target to prevent wasting a lot of damage in a few seconds.
Secondly, it is meaningless to absorb monomer damage and burst out to share it equally with AOE targets, and vice versa. To do the latter, you need the AOE stage triggered by jewelry. After playing a lot of AOE damage, avoid secondary targets other than the main target and inject explosion damage into the main target.
