National standard of lactoferrin:

In order to make the nutritional components of infant formula milk powder tend to breast milk, in 2004, the Ministry of Health specially promulgated the national standard GB 2760- 1996, Supplement to Hygienic Standards for the Use of Food Additives. The addition of lactoferrin to infant formula milk powder was approved, and the addition standard was 0.3 ~1.0 mg/g.

On 20 11June1day, the Ministry of Health issued a new food safety regulation GB14880-201,which upgraded lactoferrin from a food additive to a nutritional fortifier to strengthen infant nutrition. The strengthening standard is 0.3 ~1.0 mg/g.
