Extended family members
Geranium is a member of Geranium family, with more than 230 species. Its aliases are hydrangea, Shirakawa and Inula.
warm in winter and cool in summer
Geranium likes warm winter and cool summer. It can bloom normally at home 10- 15℃, but it will be more comfortable at 15-20℃. Remember, it likes to be dry. Don't water it too much in winter!
Plenty of light
Just a good friend of geranium! It needs plenty of sunshine during its growth, so it must be placed in a sunny place in winter. If the light is not enough, its pedicels will become soft and the flowers may wither ahead of time.
Don't like too much fertilizer
Geranium is also a master of "slimming" and doesn't like too much fertilizer. Too much fertilizer will grow too luxuriantly, but it is not conducive to flowering!
Western star flowers and plants
In the west, geranium is the star flower on the windowsill. Especially in Germany, Austria and other countries, it can often be seen.
