Do bananas gain weight or lose weight?
Many people take bananas as their first choice when losing weight. They eat bananas to lose weight, eat bananas for constipation and laxative, and also want to choose bananas as snacks. But are bananas really suitable for eating during weight loss? Not exactly.

One.

The fundamental principle of obesity is excess energy, so we always limit the intake of some energy in the process of losing weight. Only by reaching an energy difference can we lose weight and fat. However, bananas are high-calorie fruits. 100g can generate 93kcal of heat, while a banana is about 150 g, and the edible part has 89 g, which can generate 83kcal of heat. In people's minds, as a fruit to lose weight, apples that pay equal attention to it, 100g only produce 53kcal, so in the fruit world, bananas are not low in calories.

Two.

We always say that the main culprit of obesity is carbohydrates. A high-carbon diet leads to excessive sugar being converted into fat accumulation, so chop up the carbohydrates of bananas.

Fruit variety 1 00g banana, 22 apples 13.7 pears 13. 1 peach1orange1grapefruit, 9.5 watermelons and 6.8 grapes/kloc-0.

I have listed several common fruits here. As can be seen from the chart, bananas have a high carbohydrate content. There are also our common apples and pears. Oranges are only about 10g. However, although the carbohydrate content of watermelon is not high, the sugar contained in watermelon is glucose which is easily absorbed by human body, and so is grape. Therefore, it is not recommended for diabetics to eat watermelon, a fruit with high sugar content. It is easy to eat more if you are not careful in summer.

But why are bananas considered as fruits suitable for weight loss? I think there may be a few.

First, bananas are usually eaten as laxatives, making it difficult to defecate. Honey and bananas are the first choice. Mature bananas contain dietary fiber, which can increase the volume of feces and promote intestinal peristalsis; Coupled with the high sugar content of bananas, dietary fiber always belongs to sugar, so it can cause hyperosmotic gastrointestinal fluid secretion, so that water absorption makes feces soft and easier to discharge. After all, there is still a weight difference before and after defecation.

Second, bananas give people the illusion that the calories are not high. Because bananas are smaller than other fruits, you may be full if you eat an apple, but eating a banana is not necessarily full. Not enough will give me the illusion of less energy intake and make people feel that bananas are not high in calories.

Third, bananas taste smooth. Compared with pears, these fruits are more sweet and delicious, especially ripe bananas. Once peeled off, the unique fruit fragrance of bananas will spread in the office.

So bananas really don't belong to the fruit eaten during weight loss. It is best to choose some low-sugar fruits, such as plums, common and inexpensive fruits, but although the glycemic index of most fruits is not as high as that of staple foods, we should still eat them in moderation. The Dietary Guide for China Residents also points out that the fruit intake per person per day is about 200~300g, and we can reach its upper limit at ordinary times, but it is better to choose the lower limit during the period of losing weight.

I didn't come to write an article until a month later, first because I was too lazy, and second because I was too busy during this time. The two excuses are perfectly combined and shelved. . . . . .
