(1) Causes of obesity: bad eating habits, diseases and heredity.
(2) Necessary conditions for successful weight loss: exercise, diet, medicine, liposuction and physical therapy.
Discussion: It is the existence of some factor of (2), which temporarily covers up the manifestation of (1) leading to obesity. After losing weight successfully, (2) the ability of control and restraint declines or disappears completely. (1) will become the theme of life again. This is the so-called rebound. So in a sense: not many people really lose weight successfully.
Conclusion: If you want to keep from rebounding, the only way is to start with the reasons for your obesity. Losing weight is only temporary unless you eliminate the original cause of obesity. Even if you lose weight successfully, it's just like the words of American General Patton in World War II: "Glory will soon disappear."
Tip: For dieters, successful weight loss is a process of self-seeking and self-correction, which requires a long journey. I wish you can experience many ups and downs and finally overcome yourself.
