1955 In May, Wang Lu, a teacher of Daye Normal School (now Hubei Institute of Technology), was hospitalized with eye diseases. Lying in the hospital bed, he suddenly saw swallows flying outside the window and remembered that Children's Day was coming. He immediately bent over his desk and wrote several children's poems, including Good Garden, Aunt Flower, Little Black Child, Little Mouse and Little Swallow.

This group of poems was first published in the wall newspaper of Daye Teachers College, and was later recommended to be published in the June issue of Changjiang Literature and Art of 1956.

Soon, the film "Diary of a Mammy" started shooting in Shanghai, and Wang Yunjie, a famous composer of Shanghai Film Factory, received the task of writing the theme song for the film. Wang Yunjie read many newspapers and magazines in China at that time, and finally took a fancy to the swallow.

Wang Yunjie immediately wrote to Wang Lu, hoping that the two sides would cooperate. At the same time, it is pointed out that the poem is as long as three natural paragraphs ***20 lines and cannot be used as the theme lyrics. Only the first natural paragraph is most suitable for composing music for it. It is better to change the word "black" in the second line of this natural paragraph into the word "flower".

After receiving the letter, Wang Lu was so excited that he felt that he had met a bosom friend thousands of miles away. That night, he wrote back to express his approval. The Little Swallow was edited, polished and composed by Wang Yunjie, and became the theme song of Nurse Diary. Later, "Diary of a Mammy" was released, and the actor Wang sang deeply. In this way, the unknown "three kings" let this "little swallow" fly into thousands of households.

Since then, this nursery rhyme has spread all over China, and it is still enduring.
