home-made

Material: 1. Pigment (depending on the texture of the wand you want to make, for example, if you want to make a wooden wand, use brown watercolor, preferably varnish to prevent fading. Mine is a metal bar with black ink and nail polish.

2. Glue (latex is better)

3. A special chopsticks for fried food (thicker and longer than ordinary chopsticks, available in supermarkets, a pair left and right in 2 yuan. Ordinary chopsticks are ok, but the wand is smaller. Want wooden chopsticks, not painted, so that you can glue water and paint)

4. Some toilet paper (unexpectedly, haha). I told you the materials were easy to find.

Production steps:

First of all, you have to design your favorite shape and get the design drawings. You can do whatever you want.

1. Trim chopsticks, adjust them to the length you want, and cut off the extra parts with a knife (for younger children, please ask parents for help). If you like, you can cut the chopsticks unevenly, like mine. If you don't cut them, you'll be fine. If you don't cut them well, your fingers will be broken.

Toilet paper should come in handy. Use toilet paper to shape your favorite shape. You need to stick it layer by layer and use more glue to stick it firmly. After pasting, the surface of the paper should be a little wet. If you have latex, you'd better coat the whole wand and then color it (but I don't have this). If you want to thicken a place, put more paper on it. If you want to make some bumps, you can first knead them with paper and stick them on chopsticks, then cover them with several layers of paper and stick them firmly. You can also cut the paper into thin strips and stick them on it for decoration.

After the toilet paper is dry, you can start drawing. What pigment to apply and how to apply it depends entirely on personal preference. When the paint dries, the wand will be finished ~ ~ The effect depends on whether you can match colors ~
