Changtai rafting is located in Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, and is known as "the first rafting in Fujian". It is the first tourism drifting project developed by Fujian Province after the exploration and drifting of the Yangtze River and the Yellow River. Changtai rafting is the most popular rafting destination in Xiamen and Zhangzhou. The whole journey is about 8 kilometers and the drifting time is about 2 hours. Along the way, I sat on a raft and went down the river. On the way, it was thrilling to encounter a rapid surge, but it was also close at hand.
Leisure rafting in Mayangxi in summer can not only experience thrilling water fun, but also get rid of the heat in summer. I have to say, Changtai rafting is a good place. Changtai rafting is known as "the first rafting in Fujian". It is separated from the first international kayak slalom course in China and the kayak slalom base in China by a river. It has been determined by the Provincial General Administration of Sports and the Provincial Tourism Bureau as a national fitness activity center and a designated unit for drifting tourism in Fujian Province.
The "Passion Drift" water channel developed in the first phase of "Fujian First Drift" is about 8 kilometers long, passing through more than 70 waterfalls and more than 60 bends, with a drop of 75 meters between upstream and downstream. Drifting along the river, rough, stirring, washing away the dust, forgetting the honor and disgrace, both the heroic singing and paddling, but also the agitation of boat racing. It was a lucky voyage. There are many kinds of strange stones in the stream, bamboo forests are clustered and uneven, and birds singing and mountain flowers on both sides can give you a feeling of being integrated into nature. Professional water safety officers can guide and protect the whole process, which can make the whole drifting safe. With the completion of the two upstream dams, the waterway is still choppy in winter, and it is the first in China to realize white water rafting in four seasons.
Common sense of drifting
1. Tongue of Rapids: When the riverbed inclines downward, white waves appear on the calm water surface, and the rapids are usually deepest and fastest in the middle of the riverbed. In the noisy and shallow places on both sides of the river, the river is blocked and the flow velocity decreases, thus forming the phenomenon of faster water flow in the middle. Moreover, the faster the central water flows, the stronger it becomes, further washing away stones and sediment, removing resistance and obstacles, and forming a V-shaped tongue. The top of the "V" usually points to the channel with the least obstacles and resistance.
2. Rollback waves: reefs that are completely exposed on the water are easy to find, but some reefs hidden underwater are hidden. When the water flows over the top of the reef and into the diverticulum behind the reef (water stop). The river flows in the opposite direction (upstream). This phenomenon is called rolling wave, which appears downstream of semi-hidden and semi-exposed reef. If it is a large reef with a large hidden depth, there will be a large rolling wave downstream, which is usually called a "hole". This kind of "hole" is often so powerful that it can easily capsize. Some holes are like toilets. Once you enter it by mistake, it seems to be attracted by gravity, rotating like a gyroscope and stuck in it for a long time. So we should spare no effort to avoid it.
