Yi Jianlian's character evaluation

Mobile insider, with excellent physical condition, has rare athletic ability and projection touch among big players, and is the leader of China men's basketball team. Advantages are excellent physical fitness and explosive power, wide attack range, good rebounding and defensive ability. Disadvantages are insufficient inside scoring ability, unstable jump shot, poor one-on-one defense ability and easy injury.

Inherited the common problem that international inside players generally "disappear" on the defensive end, there is still a considerable gap between one-on-one defense ability and NBA level. Personal defense is not skilled enough to control the foul. Although his height, wingspan and bounce are excellent, Yi Jianlian's blocking ability is not strong, and his strength and confrontation ability are not enough to cope with most NBA insiders. Yi Jianlian's defensive awareness and rebounding ability are basically at the starting level of NBA, but this advantage is not prominent in the "Super Fish" Nets.
