Guan Yu was born in Hedong. He followed Liu Bei in his early days, was captured by Cao Cao, and killed Yan Liang, the general of Yuan Shao, in Bai Mapo. Together with sworn brother Zhang Fei, they are called ten thousand enemies. Liu Bei called the Queen of Hanzhong, Guan Yu led an army to surround Xiangfan, and Cao Cao sent Yu Ban to reinforce. Guan Yu captured Yu Jin alive and killed Pound, which greatly shocked China. Cao Cao once wanted to move the capital to avoid its sharpness. Later, Cao Cao sent Huang Xu to reinforce, and General Lv Meng of Wu Dong attacked Jingzhou again. Guan Yu was caught between Scylla and Charybdis and was defeated and killed. In Liu Chan's time, Guan Yu was regarded as a powerful empress of the temple. After Guan Yu's death, he was gradually deified by people and was honored as "Guan Gong", also known as bearded Gong. Many imperial courts in the past dynasties praised them, made them knighthoods and worshipped them as "warrior saints".

Zhang Fei, a native of Youzhou, Zhuo Jun, followed Liu Bei and Guan Yu in his early years. Liu Bei defeated Changbanpo, and Zhang Fei only rode it twenty times. According to the broken bridge, no one dared to go near Cao Jun. When Zhuge Liang and Zhao Yun swept through Xichuan, Yan Yan was put in Jiangzhou. In the battle of Hanzhong, Zhang He was defeated by the Party Canal, which made great contributions to Shu Han. This official is a general riding a car, and a captain leads a company. He was appointed as Hou of Xixiang. Later, he was assassinated by Fan Jiang and Zhang Da. In Liu Chan's time, he was called "Huan Hou".

Ma Chao, a native of Fufeng Maoling, is a descendant of General Han. In the early days, Zhong You fought under Cao Cao. After his father Ma Teng entered Beijing as an official, Ma Chao stayed in Guanzhong and took charge of Ma Teng's department. When Cao Cao commanded troops in Guanzhong, Ma Chao joined forces with Guanzhong warlords Han Sui and Yang Qiu to resist Cao Cao and fight against him in Weishui. Cao Cao once lamented: "I have no place to die until the horse dies." When Liu Bei attacked Yizhou, he defected and took part in surrounding Chengdu. Zhangwu died in the second year (222) at the age of 47 and entrusted it to his younger brother Ma Dai. During Liu Chan's time, he sought to become "Wei Hou" after his death.

Huang Zhong, a native of Nanyang, was originally a corps commander under Liu Biao, and later surrendered to Liu Bei to fight with him in Sichuan. In the battle of Hanzhong, Huang Zhong killed Xia, a famous Cao Wei in Dingjun Mountain. He died in 220 years of Jian 'an. In Liu Chan's time, he was regarded as "just waiting".

Zhao Yun, the word Zilong, is a calm person in Changshan. He is the first general to follow Liu Bei after Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. Liu Bei, who followed Gongsun Zan in the early days and took refuge in Yecheng, still attached to Yuan Shao. Liu Chan, the son of Liu Bei, was rescued twice and was called "the savior riding alone". When Cao Jun was defeated in the Hanshui War, Liu Bei called him a "brave man" and the soldiers in the army called him "General Hu Weiwei". In the Shu-Han regime, Zhao Yun was the only elder of the two dynasties among the five generals. He died in 229, the seventh year of Jianxing, and was "Shunping Hou" in posthumous title in Liu Chan era.
