What sugar-free or low-sugar foods do you recommend?
Sugar-free food generally refers to sweet food without sucrose (sucrose and beet sugar) and glucose. However, sugar-free foods should contain sugar alcohols (including xylitol, sorbitol, maltitol, mannitol) and other substitutes. Sugar-free foods include eggs, fish, meat, seafood, bamboo shoots, onions, bean sprouts, spinach, mushrooms, fungus, laver and so on.

Low-sugar foods include whole grains and some cereal products, and some green vegetables are also low-sugar ingredients. Vegetables such as asparagus, bamboo shoots, Chinese cabbage, celery, cucumber, eggplant, radish and spinach are all low-sugar ingredients. Low-sugar fruits include apples, plums, cherries, oranges and pears. Grains with low sugar content include oats, wheat bran and some processed barley. Some mixtures of cream, whole milk and some unprocessed hard cheese are also low-sugar foods.
