Jiangxi Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine maintains and develops the characteristics and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine. First, actively cultivate the brand of acupuncture and moxibustion, and strengthen the theoretical and technological innovation of moxibustion, which was fully affirmed by She Jing, former deputy minister of health and director of state administration of traditional chinese medicine, and instructed: "I hope to conscientiously implement it and form a pattern of' acupuncture in Tianjin in the north and moxibustion in Jiangxi in the south'." The second is to set up the National Medical Hall (Jiangxi Famous Chinese Medicine Studio), and invite famous old Chinese medicine practitioners inside and outside the hospital and inside and outside the province to sit in the clinic, so that patients who come to see a doctor can get all-round treatment from famous old Chinese medicine practitioners. The third is to set up a special treatment department of traditional Chinese medicine to provide special services such as beauty, medicated bath, acupuncture and slimming.

In 2003, Jiangxi Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was awarded the title of "National Advanced Collective in Health System Construction" by the Ministry of Health, "Provincial People's Satisfied Hospital" by the Provincial Health Department in 2004 and "Nanchang People's Most Satisfied Hospital" by Nanchang citizens. In 2005, it was inspected by the "Hospital Management Year" supervision team of the Ministry of Health, and it was affirmed and praised by the supervision team. In June 2006, the Party Committee of Jiangxi Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was awarded the title of "Advanced Grassroots Party Organization in Jiangxi Province" by Jiangxi Provincial Committee.
