Tighten your body skills when dancing Latin dance.
(1) vertical direction
The two points where the body can bend are called breakpoints, which are the joints between our hips, thighs and knees. The stress direction of these two points is opposite to their bendable direction, that is, the knee is pressed backwards and the hip is pressed forwards, so that the bendable parts of the body are locked after treatment. When we push the center of gravity, it is like bending a steel ruler, forming a small arc of thigh muscles in front, which not only tightens the breakpoint, but also produces the elasticity of the body.
From the hip to the thigh, we belong to the upper body and the lower body belongs to the lower body. People's upper body naturally has a physiological curve, with head in front, neck in back, chest in front and buttocks in back, an S-shaped line. Then, when we want to tighten the upper body, the two ends of the S shape are forced perpendicular to the central axis of the body, which is equal to what we usually say: stretching the neck, pressing the chin, abdomen and buttocks. This process adjusts the S-shape, and the body strength is concentrated on the central axis of our body, so that the upper body forms a whole, and the movement of the body will be synchronized with the movement of the center of gravity.
(2) Horizontal direction
In the horizontal direction, we use towels that are twisted together, which means that the upper body and the lower body rotate in the opposite direction, locking the body and preventing the upper body and the lower body from being misplaced left and right. Generally, when you twist a towel, you will use your hips to exert force, which will destroy the tightening of the body in the vertical direction, especially the upper body. When the force point of twisting the towel is squeezed at the knee, the hip strength is always forward. The strength generated by the knees drives the upper and lower bodies to form a twisted towel. The center line of towel twisting is also the center line of the body, so the process of towel twisting has always been around the center line.
Looking horizontally and vertically together, we can find that the tightening of our body starts from the central axis of the body, and the strength is concentrated on the central axis, which essentially tightens the strength of the body, thus achieving the tightening of physical performance.
Shoulder and chest training skills of Latin dance
The flexibility exercise of Latin dance shoulders and chest can learn from a basic movement of jazz dance, and it is beautiful and simple to apply this movement to some individual solo dances of Latin dance.
Divide the shoulder movements into four positions: up, front, down and back, and each position is the limit position of one's own ability.
Relax, stand with your feet shoulder width apart, and start the exercise with four beats as a cycle. 1, push up the left shoulder and press down the right shoulder. At this time, the chest is in a natural state, and it does not lean forward and does not contain the back. At 2 o'clock, the shoulders are backward, and the chest will naturally move forward. At 3 o'clock, lift the right shoulder and press the left shoulder, and the chest is in a natural state. Double at 4 o'clock? Shoulders forward at the same time, including chest.
Similarly, in the opposite direction, at 1, push up the right shoulder and press down the left shoulder. 2 o'clock, shoulders back, chest out. At 3 o'clock, the left shoulder is pushed up and the right shoulder is pressed down. 4 o'clock, shoulders forward, including chest.
After remembering this order, you can add the left and right movements of the upper body. For example, when the left shoulder is pushed up and the right shoulder is pressed down, the upper body moves to the left. When the left shoulder is pressed down and the right shoulder is pushed up, the upper body moves to the right. In this way, when the shoulder direction changes, the chest also forms a horizontal circular movement, and the combination of independent movements in two directions will make the upper body move very much.
The amplitude of each movement should be maximized. It may feel awkward at first. After practice, the movements will be very coherent and can be completed with one shot. But even if you are proficient, you should make every position clear and have enough scope to play the role of exercise. This movement is also suitable for office workers to exercise when their shoulders are sore, which is very good for the coordination of the upper body and good for the heart and respiratory system. If you are a person with narrow shoulders or slippery shoulders, sticking to this action will improve this shortcoming.
