Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in March 2002 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was Wuhu Chinese Medicine School, which was founded in 1960. The school is located in Wuhu, a leading city in the development and opening up of Wanjiang River on the south bank of the Yangtze River. The school has a strong faculty and a reasonable echelon structure, forming a double-qualified teacher team with reasonable structure and full of vitality. At present, the school is the vice chairman of the Teaching Steering Committee of Vocational Education of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the Ministry of Education, the executive vice chairman of the National Association of Vocational and Technical Education of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the chairman of the Steering Committee for the Construction of Teaching Materials for Higher Vocational Education of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the chairman of the Professional Committee of Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Care of Anhui Traditional Chinese Medicine Society, and the chairman of the Professional Committee of Traditional Chinese Medicine Planting (Breeding) of Anhui Pharmaceutical Society.

Wuhu Municipal Health Bureau approved the establishment of stomatology specialty in Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine on September 2, 20 13! The Department of Medicine was established in May, 20001year. There are four majors of traditional Chinese medicine, medical inspection technology, orthopedics and traumatology of traditional Chinese medicine and medical imaging technology, with more than 3000 students. The medical department now has three teaching and research sections: Chinese, Western and Nursing. It has complete experimental training facilities such as anatomy laboratory, "Three Principles" laboratory, micro-delivery laboratory, orthopedics laboratory, simulated ward, nursing operation training room and simulated operating room. The school has 24 majors, including Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage, rehabilitation therapy technology, orthopedics and traumatology of Chinese medicine, nursing, pharmacy and Chinese medicine. Among them, the specialty of traditional Chinese medicine was rated as a provincial-level teaching reform demonstration specialty, which formed a complementary relationship and dislocation competition with undergraduate and other educational levels in the adjustment of the educational structure of traditional Chinese medicine.
