A person's back contains many vertebrae and many nerves. The five internal organs of the human body can find corresponding areas in the back, such as the upper part of the back corresponding to the lung and heart, the lower part of the back corresponding to the spleen, stomach, liver and gallbladder, and the waist corresponding to the kidney, bladder, large intestine and small intestine.

The back Du meridian is the "sea of Yang meridians", and the Du meridian is covered by Yang meridians. Five common ways to raise your back
