Nine kinds of TCM constitutions and five kinds of summer recuperation.
Traditional Chinese medicine believes that health preservation should follow the yin-yang changes of "warm in spring, hot in summer, cool in autumn and cold in winter" and conform to the law of "growing in spring, growing in summer, harvesting in autumn and storing in winter", so it is necessary to follow the law of "nourishing yang in spring and summer" in summer and pay attention to timely health preservation. Five types of physique are most suitable for summer conditioning.

Traditional Chinese medicine divides people's physique into nine types: peace, qi deficiency, yang deficiency, yin deficiency, phlegm-dampness, damp-heat, blood stasis, qi stagnation and idiosyncrasy. Traditional Chinese medicine advocates "using communication as a function, supplemented by communication", dredging the six fu organs, promoting qi circulation, and ascending the clear and descending the turbid. Therefore, phlegm-dampness quality, yang deficiency quality, qi deficiency quality, yin deficiency quality and damp-heat quality in summer are most suitable for TCM conditioning.

Qi deficiency: this kind of people have weak limbs, soft muscles and do not like sports. People with qi deficiency mainly tonify spleen and lung, but they should also pay attention to avoiding wind and evil spirits. Can be used for conditioning Chinese medicines such as Chinese yam, longan pulp and lotus seeds.

Damp-heat quality: The skin color of these people is mostly yellow, and they feel "turbid" but not refreshing. Nursing should focus on invigorating the spleen and eliminating dampness, soothing the liver and benefiting the gallbladder.

Phlegm-dampness type: Most of these people have full waist and abdomen, and their limbs are heavy and weak. The method of conditioning is mainly to soothe the liver and regulate qi.

Yang deficiency: this kind of people are afraid of cold, their limbs are not warm, and they often feel cold below their back and knees. People with yang deficiency should focus on warming spleen and kidney and exercising.

Yin deficiency: Most people are thin or slender, afraid of heat, fever of hands and feet, dry skin or oily skin. The principle of health preservation is to nourish yin and reduce fire, calm the heart and soothe the nerves, and give priority to diet and mental conditioning.

Six diseases are suitable for winter diseases and summer diseases.

Rheumatism: rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and other arthralgia syndrome, which is aggravated when suffering from cold in winter, and the condition is aggravated repeatedly.

Gastrointestinal diseases: chronic gastritis, functional dyspepsia, peptic ulcer, chronic enteritis, etc.

Respiratory diseases: chronic cough, expectoration, wheezing and other symptoms such as bronchitis, asthma, obstructive emphysema, sinusitis, chronic pharyngitis, recurrent respiratory infections, etc., easily occur in cold or winter.

Bone injury diseases: chronic low back pain, scapulohumeral periarthritis, cervical spondylosis, lumbar muscle strain, spinal degenerative diseases, etc.

Sub-health: people who have repeated allergies such as allergic rhinitis, are afraid of cold in winter, lack of body yang, like cold and warm, and are afraid of cold in winter; Skin diseases, such as chilblain, cold erythema multiforme, chronic urticaria and low immune function, mostly occur at night and worsen in autumn and winter.

Physical weakness in children: frequent colds and coughs, asthma in children, chronic diarrhea, indigestion (malnutrition), enuresis, chronic diarrhea, etc.

Four-season health preservation has always been one of the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine in Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. On June 19, Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine will carry out the activity of "20 19 Health Care in Four Seasons in Summer, Treatment of Winter Diseases in Summer". Winter disease is cured in summer, waiting for you to experience it.

Combined with how to prevent diseases and recuperate in summer, many Chinese medicine practitioners answer questions and provide on-site guidance for patients. At the same time, next to the Chinese medicine decocting platform on the second floor of the clinic, the "experience of acupoint application for thousands of people in summer and winter diseases in summer" will be provided to let more people know about Chinese medicine application therapy.
