Baihua Lake Scenic Area is located in the northwest suburb of Guiyang, about 22 kilometers away from the urban area. The total area of the scenic spot is 83 square kilometers, and there are more than 100 islands scattered in the lake, which are mainly karst landforms and natural landscapes with lakes and mountains. The water here is clear, the rocks are lined up, and there are caves and hot springs. Because it resembles the scenery of Lijiang River in Guilin, it is called Small Guilin.

The whole scenic spot consists of caves, hot springs, Hongwu Temple, MC Davi Camp, Zhuchanggu Fort and other 12 scenic spots. The lake is beautiful, the mountains are winding and the climate is mild. A series of solitary peaks in the lake area reach the island directly, and Baihua Lake is naturally divided into middle lake, south lake and north lake.

There are more than 50 scenic spots in Baihua Lake Scenic Area, of which 23 have been opened, including the pine forest overlooking, the two monkeys guarding the garden, the crab island Luo Yu, the Guanyin Cave, the narrow flowers, the overlapping peaks, the golden toad splashing water, the lonely peak, the strange rocks, the Yingpanbao and the Bird Island. Among them, Bird Island is a precious sight of Baihua Lake. Every spring and winter, hundreds of birds hover around the island, adding a lot of fun to the beautiful natural landscape. Pastoral interest is also a major feature here. There are three small villages in the lake, and dozens of farmers are recuperating on the island. Fishing boats are moored beside the waterside forest, which is poetic and interesting.
