Wushu originated from the battlefield, and boxing was born out of weapons. The real martial arts only have the basic skills and actual combat training of left and right singles and skill endurance. Routine is just a training method in Wushu, which is dispensable. Bone density and strong physical strength come from skill endurance training, not from standing on a pile!
The skill endurance training of traditional Wushu is the training method of ancient army, such as shaking a big gun (now called shaking a big stick), rubbing a stone ball, kicking a baffle, lifting a stone lock and punching sandbags. These training methods, without words and deeds, are easy to shake the internal organs and hurt the brain. Only by training day after day can we cultivate the effects in traditional Wushu. Without skill endurance, no matter the battlefield or the competition, it is a dead end. Just look at cats and tigers.
