The chapter "The Effect of the Gospel" in Galatians contains nine new gifts. The nine fruits of the Holy Spirit represent love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and temperance. The fruit of the Holy Spirit comes from the tree, but from the tree of life of Christ through the Holy Spirit. It is a natural expression of believers' obedience to the Holy Spirit, and it cannot be done by imitation. It is above the law and different from the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit.
