Indications: impotence, premature ejaculation, gonorrhea, nephritis, diabetes, dizziness, low back pain, uterine pain and gynecological leucorrhea caused by kidney deficiency.

Acupoint selection: the depression of Tongshen point on the upper edge of the medial side of the knee is one point. Tongwei point is two inches above the upper edge of the medial knee, that is, two inches above Tongshen point. Tongbei point is four inches above Tongshen point, that is, two inches above Tongwei point.

Principle and application demonstration:

1. Tongshen point, Tongwei point and Tongbei point are all located on the ridge line between black and white meat on the inner thigh, which has a strong effect of promoting diuresis and tonifying kidney.

2. In addition to the above symptoms, Tongshen point can also treat dry mouth and sore throat.

3. Tongshen point, Tongwei point and Tongbei point are very effective in treating nephritis inflammation, facial edema, systemic edema, edema of limbs and swelling of instep, and six needles are used on both sides.

4. Tongshen point, Tongwei point and Tongbei point are also effective in treating shoulder pain. Stomach disease can be cured immediately by using Tongwei point alone; Tongbei point is very effective in treating lumbago.

5. Tongshen point, Tongwei point and Tongbei point are all on the extension line of the inner edge of the knee, and they stab the spleen meridian from top to bottom. It has the meaning of replenishing soil to make water, and the effect of treating edema is very effective. It is also effective for diabetes. Proteinuria and glycosuria are common symptoms of deficiency of both spleen and kidney.
