Indications: facial paralysis and facial distortion.

Acupoint selection: Xia Quan point is two and a half inches above the center of the lateral knee joint. Zhongquan point is two inches higher than Xia Quan point. Shangquan point is an acupoint two inches above Zhongquan point.

Principle and application demonstration:

1. Shangquan Point, Zhongquan Point and Xia Quan Point are collectively called Sanquan Point, which is located on the gallbladder meridian line. It has good curative effect on facial paralysis and facial tremor, tinnitus and hard of hearing.

2. Shangquan point, Zhongquan point and Xia Quan point are all located on the gallbladder meridian, mainly for expelling wind, and are mainly used to treat the above-mentioned wind-related diseases.
