Huai 'an Museum was established in March, 1959. It is a comprehensive historical museum and the center of cultural relics collection, exhibition and archaeological research in this city. The first phase of the new Huai 'an Museum covers an area of 7 mu, with a building area of 5000 _, and is located atNo. 146- 1 Jiankang West Road, Huai 'an City, Jiangsu Province. /kloc-0 was completed and opened to the outside world in June, 1997. This is a modern building that combines classical charm with the flavor of the times. The new building, the main building is four stories high, partially five stories high, surrounded by marble, and has 48 steps on the second floor, which is solemn, magnificent, clean and elegant. In order to ensure the safety of cultural relics, modern anti-theft alarm equipment, closed-circuit television monitoring, automatic fire alarm and fire fighting equipment have been installed in all exhibition halls and warehouses. As a municipal comprehensive history museum, the whole museum has a sound management mechanism and a high ability of scientific research and field archaeological excavation. Academic research has yielded fruitful results. Textual Research on the Bronze Statue of the Warring States Tomb in Huaiyin Gaozhuang, Feather Classic of the Warring States, Bronze Decoration of the Warring States Tomb in Huaiyin Gaozhuang and Related Issues, Comparison of Archaeological Data in Pre-Qin Gold, History of Huai 'an City, and Map of Jiangsu Cultural Relics have been published in national, provincial and municipal cultural publications such as China Cultural Relics Newspaper, Archaeology of China and Southeast Culture. There are more than 80 academic papers and archaeological reports, such as Fan Shi Stone Relief Tomb in Dagudun, Siyang. Among them, "The Bronze Decoration of the Warring States Tomb in Huaiyin Gaozhuang and Related Issues" won the third prize of outstanding academic achievements in philosophy and social sciences in Jiangsu Province, 65438-0999-2000. In order to cooperate with national, provincial and municipal large-scale projects and protect underground cultural relics, Huai 'an Museum has successively completed the archaeological investigation, exploration and rescue excavation of underground cultural relics in eight capital construction projects, including Huaihe River Channel, South-to-North Water Diversion Project, Third Line Lock of Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, expressway of Huaiyi River, Huaiyi Railway, expressway of Ningsu, expressway of Huai Su Salt and expressway of Ninghuai. Ancient sites, ancient tombs (groups), ancient stone carvings, ancient wells and other cultural relics were discovered 165. Rescue excavations were carried out on 17 sites in Neolithic Age, Western Zhou Dynasty, Han and Tang Dynasties, 30 ancient wells from Han Dynasty to Tang and Song Dynasties, and more than 300 ancient tombs from Warring States to Ming and Qing Dynasties. Nearly 3000 pieces of various cultural relics and specimens were unearthed, including 28 pieces of national precious cultural relics/kloc-0, which added a number of precious physical materials to the study of Huai' an ancient history.

The exhibition of modern calligraphy and painting in Huai 'an collection shows the works of nearly 100 modern painters and painters in Huai 'an.
