What's the use of koukou?
Spleen and stomach are "the foundation of the day after tomorrow, the source of qi and blood biochemistry." "All diseases are due to spleen and stomach failure". Traditional Chinese medicine can strengthen the spleen and stomach in two ways: First, it can strengthen teeth. Teeth are healthy, food is easy to chew, and the burden on the stomach is reduced, thus nourishing the stomach; Second, the spleen's "body fluid" and the stomach's exterior and interior, the body fluid in the mouth is a light and thin part of saliva, which helps food digestion. Biting teeth produces saliva, which helps the stomach "break down water (food and drink)" and the spleen "transport and clean up" (turning Shui Gu into a delicate substance and "irrigating the whole body", dispersing the whole body), reducing the burden on the spleen and stomach, and achieving the purpose of strengthening the spleen and stomach.
