Grottoes are generally moved underground, and the topsoil penetrates into many tunnels, so that the roots of seedlings are ventilated and separated from the soil, resulting in the death of seedlings due to water loss, lack of seedlings and broken ridges, and even serious damage to seeds, which greatly reduces the yield of vegetables. 1- 12 generations mostly overwinter with adults 30-70 mm under the soil, and in March, the overwintering insects began to move, forming a loose mound on the ground. The damage peak appeared in April, and vertical and horizontal tunnels appeared on the ground. Nymphs began to disperse after hatching for 3 days, and the second damage peak was formed in autumn, which seriously harmed autumn sowing crops. In late autumn and early winter, some adults emerge, and in the later stage, adults and nymphs are buried in the soil at the same time for the winter.
