Chaohu College is located in Chaohu Economic Development Zone, Hefei City, Anhui Province, adjacent to Chaohu Lake, one of the five largest freshwater lakes. This is the first national tourist resort in Anhui Province-Bantang Hot Spring Health Resort, which is known as the hometown of nine blessings.

The school is surrounded by mountains and waters, and there are attractions such as Baochan, Yin Ping, Wujiang Pavilion, Weizidong and Laoshan Island. The school is a full-time public undergraduate college in Anhui Province. Founded in 1977, formerly Chaohu Normal University. In April 2002, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed Chaohu College. In June 2006, he was awarded a bachelor's degree.
