Why do you say that it is always warm in spring to keep the elderly safe?
Huangdi Neijing, the earliest existing medical work in China, said: "The kidney comes from spring, and spring is full of heart." This means that the qi of the kidney meridian is like the source water, which comes from the foot and pours out to irrigate all parts of the body and limbs. Therefore, Yongquan point shows its important role in human health, disease prevention, treatment and health care. Regular massage of this acupoint can activate the internal qi in the kidney meridian, guide the fire due to kidney deficiency, lower the turbid qi in the upper body, and have the functions of tonifying kidney, soothing the liver, improving eyesight and nourishing the internal organs. It can prevent and treat more than 50 diseases such as senile asthma, weakness of waist and legs, insomnia and dreaminess, neurasthenia, dizziness and headache, hypertension, deafness, tinnitus and constipation.

As the saying goes: "If you want to be safe for the elderly, spring will warm bloom." There are many ways to stimulate Yongquan point for health preservation, health care, disease prevention and treatment, which can be divided into three categories: first, drug baking and fumigation; The second is to use moxibustion and plaster; The third is to use various massage techniques or other physical methods.

The following are several common clinical treatments:

(1) Soak bilateral Yongquan points with hot salt water. Hot water suits you, add some salt and soak for 15 ~ 30 minutes before going to bed every day.

(2) Use moxibustion or medicinal moxibustion once a day until there is a heat sensation at Yongquan point.

(3) Massage Yongquan point. The specific operation method is: after washing your feet with hot water every night, sit by the bed, lift your knees and put them on the other leg, and tilt them inward. First massage your left foot with your right hand, then massage your right foot with your left hand, and massage in circles until local redness and fever occur. Massage should be gentle and consistent, light and important, and appropriate. At first, the speed should be slower, and then gradually speed up and lengthen the time after adaptation. In addition, you can warm your hands first and then rub your feet, horizontally or vertically, for 80 ~ 108 times or more. Even when washing feet or sleeping, the cross friction between feet has a certain effect. Of course, the first and most formal method works best. But no matter which kneading method is used, we should pay attention to the balance of the number and degree of two-foot massage.
