The sleeves are fragrant, and the red fragrance lingers in autumn smoke.
The wind is shaking on the light cloud ridge, and the water is blowing by the tender willow pool.

The dancing sleeves set off a burst of fragrance, and the fragrance of clothes and body lingered for a long time. Slender and gentle figure, slim and graceful, like a red lotus swaying in the autumn fog. The body and arms dance slowly, like thin clouds that have just been blown out of the valley by the wind, and like soft wicker when the breeze rises. The pool is low and the shadow is reflected in the water.

Creative background:
The fragrance of the sleeves of Anaqu Luo is the work of Yang Taizhen (Yang Guifei) in the Tang Dynasty. This word is written for Zhang, a singer who is good at "Dress Dancing", to describe her wonderful dance. Figuratively speaking, this dance is like a graceful red lotus, making a misty sound, like a light cloud lingering on the mountain, like a tender willow blowing over the water in the spring breeze. The whole word gives a soft image. This is typical femininity. Yang Guifei's accomplishments in dance art, music art and language art can be seen here.
The first sentence of this poem is a general summary, and the last three sentences are metaphors, which are the embodiment of "endless fragrance". The whole poem takes things as aesthetic objects, develops associations and depicts Zhang's song and dance performances, which is difficult to write because it is difficult to record beautiful movements in words. But this article by Yang Guifei is very well written and distinctive.
The history book contains Yang Guifei's "good at singing and dancing, familiar with melody". Indeed, only as an expert in music and dance itself can we have such a vivid description; Only with the talent of poetry can we express our feelings in such beautiful words and in the form of poetry.
