If you have this feeling that the thought of going to work makes you irritable and bored, then you may have "post-holiday syndrome".
"Post-holiday syndrome" is a variety of physiological or psychological manifestations after people's big holidays (especially the Spring Festival Golden Week and the National Day Golden Week).
For example, two or three days after the festival, I feel bored, listless and inefficient. I even have unexplained nausea, dizziness, intestinal reaction, anorexia nervosa, anxiety and neurasthenia.
Postpartum syndrome is also called wealth syndrome. During the long vacation, many people often forget their usual constraints, such as staying up late and overeating. Once the sleep pattern and diet pattern are disrupted, constipation, acne and excessive oil secretion are normal. Diarrhea is more common in festivals.
When it comes to coping with post-holiday syndrome, it is estimated that you can find many ways to cope with it by searching online. Let me tell you a few small methods that I think are effective.
1. Work schedule.
During the holidays, the team may play games, travel, attend friends' parties, catch up on sleep, study abroad and so on. The normal schedule of work and rest is completely disrupted.
After the holiday, you can try to set an alarm clock and gradually return to normal work and rest time. In the evening, you can listen to appropriate music, take a comfortable hot bath, relax and promote sleep.
2. Work phobia
After seven consecutive days of not going to work, or traveling, or partying, or relaxing at home, the working rhythm and state of the working day have been completely disrupted, and some people will have resistance at the thought of returning to the tense work mode or study state. In the first few days after the holiday, it is difficult to concentrate, the work efficiency is low, and I can't find the feeling of going to work.
Re-entering a regular and busy state, there may be a short adjustment and adaptation period psychologically. First of all, we should work and rest regularly, ensure adequate sleep and stop staying up late. Secondly, we should adjust our mental state and remind ourselves of the importance of work.
3. Travel syndrome
Nowadays, many people choose to travel during festivals, enjoy beautiful scenery and relax. However, the holidays are limited. The fatigue caused by continuous business trips and fatigue, as well as the irregular diet, make me feel more tired than going to work after going out for a walk.
The rush of the journey makes the body in a state of exhaustion, so the return trip will be advanced appropriately, and time will be reserved to tidy up the body and mind, arrange a reasonable diet, ensure adequate sleep, or set the next travel goal, and then let the body and mind return to the daily state from the holiday mode as soon as possible.
Finally, when you return to your daily life after the holiday, don't forget to adapt to work/study step by step and let yourself gradually recover the rhythm.
In your spare time, you can count the days with a snap of your fingers. After all, the National Day has passed, can New Year's Day be far behind?
