Wuqinxi is a set of dynamic health care therapy, which can achieve the purpose of strengthening the body and preventing diseases by imitating the movements and demeanor of animals. It was Hua Tuo, a famous doctor in ancient China, who summed up Wuqinxi as a kind of therapy. Hua tuo is not only skilled in medical skills, but also good at keeping in good health. According to the records of the later Han Dynasty, when Hua Tuo was nearly a hundred years old, he seemed to be a mature man. Hua Tuo has two apprentices, one named Fan A and the other named Fan A.. They all asked Hua Tuo for ways to keep in good health, and Hua Tuo taught them two different ways to keep in good health. As a result, both of them can live a long life. When Upp was in his nineties, his ears were bright and his teeth were strong. When Fan A was a hundred years old, his hair and beard were black and shiny, and his mental strength was stronger than that of young adults. It can be seen that the effect of Huatuo regimen is very significant. The regimen that Hua Tuo taught his disciple Upp is called Wuqinxi, which is a set of medical and physical regimen.
"Birds are the floorboard of birds and animals", hence the name "Five Birds Play". Reflection? "Hua Tuo Biography" records: "I have a skill called Wuqinxi. One is a tiger, one is a deer, the third is a bear, the fourth is an ape and the fifth is a bird. It is also a guide to eliminate diseases and benefit hoofs and feet. If you are unhappy, play the role of a bird and sweat happily. Because you are covered in powder, your body is light and you want to eat. " Wuqinxi can make people move sensitively, coordinate and balance, improve joint function and physique, which is not only beneficial to the prevention and treatment of hypertension, coronary heart disease and hyperlipidemia, but also has a good medical and health care effect on the rehabilitation of cancer patients.
The initial movements of Wuqinxi mainly imitate the flapping of the tiger's forelimbs, the falling and standing of the bear, the stretching of the deer's head and neck, the vertical jumping of the ape's toes and the spreading of the bird's wings. By imitating the movements of these five animals, we can not only exercise the bones and muscles of the limbs, but also make the internal organs move in all directions. ? There are two ways to practice wuqinxi: one is to imitate the movements of five animals, think about their activities with ideas, and draw the movements naturally. As long as there is a combination of action sequences, the order of each practice can be different. The other is to learn the whole set of movements by referring to the existing books of Wuqinxi.
Tiger style: stand naturally, bend over, press your hands to the ground, lean forward and inhale. After the current reaches the peak, pause for a moment, then retract and exhale, and so on for three times. Then move your hands forward from left to right, and move your feet backward at the same time to stretch your waist as much as possible, then look up at the sky and then look down. Finally, climb seven steps forward and seven steps backward like a tiger. (Figure 1)
Lu Xiu: Ground all limbs, inhale, turn head and neck to the left, and look back to the right. When you turn left to the extreme, stop for a while, exhale, turn your head and neck, inhale again when you turn to the ground, and continue to turn right, as in the previous method. Turn left three times, turn right twice, and finally return to momentum. Then, lift your left leg and stretch it backwards. After the pause, put down your left leg and lift your right leg, stretching as usual. In this way, the left leg is extended three times and the right leg is extended twice. (Figure 2)
Bear play: lie on your back, arch your knees, get your feet off the bed, put your hands under your knees, push your head and neck up hard, get your shoulders off the bed, and then stop for a while. First, you roll off the bed with your left shoulder. When your left shoulder touches the bed, you immediately roll down your head and neck and your shoulder leaves the bed. After stopping for a while, you roll down with your right shoulder and stand up again. So he alternated left and right seven times, then got up, put his feet on the bed in a crouching posture, pressed his hands on the same side of his feet, and then lifted his left foot and right palm off the bed like a bear. When the left foot and right palm fall backwards, the right foot and left palm are lifted. So alternate left and right, the body swings left and right, stop for a while. (Figure? 3)
How to play the ape: Choose a sturdy horizontal bar, slightly higher than yourself, stand at the height that your fingers can reach, grab the horizontal bar with both hands like an ape climbing an object, make your feet suspended, and do pull-ups seven times. Then hook the horizontal bar with the back of your left foot, put down your hands, and hang your head and body downward. After a short pause, change your right foot and hook the pole backwards, and repeat this for seven times. (Figure 4)
Bird play: natural standing posture. When inhaling, lift your left leg, raise your arms horizontally, raise your eyebrows and get up your strength, like a bird spreading its wings. When exhaling, the left leg falls back to the ground and the two arms fall back to the leg side. Then lift your right leg as you did. So alternate left and right seven times, then sit down. Bend your right leg, put your hands under your knees, and bring your legs and knees closer to your chest. After a pause, change your hands to hold your left knee as you did, and repeat this seven times. Finally, your arms extend and contract seven times like the wings of a bird. (Figure 5)
Essentials of Wuqinxi: First, as introduced, there is mental exercise first, and then combined with breathing and physical activities, and the three are integrated; Second, the practice of Wuqinxi must be based on images, such as learning from Tiger Claw, flapping and spinning, deer touching, walking and sitting, bear pushing, climbing and shaking, ape jumping, picking, turning, flashing, advancing and retreating, and bird flying, falling and stretching.
Wuqinxi imitates tiger's fierceness, deer's serenity, bear's calmness, ape's dexterity and bird's agility to exercise, which can enhance physical strength, promote blood circulation, relax muscles and tendons, and can also be used for the rehabilitation of chronic diseases. Generally, you can practice the whole set or 1 ~ 2 paragraphs. Fighting tigers can refresh your mind and strengthen your bones and muscles. Deer play can improve eyesight and hearing, relax tendons and activate joints. Bears can strengthen the waist and knees and relieve the feeling of fullness. Ape play can improve the sensitivity of human body to external reactions, and can also prevent and treat low back pain. Shooting birds can enhance respiratory function and improve human balance.
