Zheng CuO, the Zheng family in Xingyang moved here from Xianyou in the Song Dynasty, so it was called Zheng CuO. Because of the prosperous population, it evolved into a corner place name because it was analyzed as upper Zheng and lower Zheng.

There are two historical sites in the village, the Twenty-four Palace and the Fangshang Palace, which are famous far and near.
