Holding one on your back in the camp, can you go? Can it be as soft as a baby? Can you get rid of Xuanjian without defects? Love the people and govern the country, can you do nothing? Can Tianmen be opened and closed for women? Understand Starr, can you be ignorant? Born, livestock, born without, not relying on, long without killing. It means Xuande.

Chapter 10 of Tao Te Ching is translated as follows:

Spirit and form are one, can they not be separated? Concentrated and soft, can you be like a newborn baby? Can you wash away your distractions and have a flawless look? Can loving the people and governing the country follow the law of natural inaction? Mouth and nose open and close naturally, breathe and exhale, can you keep quiet? Reach out everywhere, can you not play politics and brains? It is the highest and deepest "virtue" to nurture everything without keeping it for yourself, to make outstanding contributions to the world without relying on it, and to nourish everything without dominating it.
