The wisdom of going home for dinner: a panacea, in the common room at home.
I read several articles about TCM in the morning, and found several books about TCM in WeChat reading, so I remembered a set of Chen Yunbin's Wisdom of Going Home for Dinner.

This is also my friend Liu, who studied Chinese medicine, forced me to read more Chinese medicine books last year. I took it back and read some contents, which I found quite applicable. Moreover, this kind of book is not just finished, and it needs to be turned out frequently. For people who are not Chinese medicine practitioners, those symptoms are unclear. How can they remember so many things?

The Wisdom of Going Home for Dinner consists of three volumes, which are divided into three parts. However, this set of books has been eaten on the shelf for a year since it was bought back.

I dug out the first volume in the morning and read it first. When I read "A Good Solution for Fever-Old Skin Water with Silkworm Dregs and Bamboo shavings", I regretted not using this book earlier. Two weeks ago, my son had a fever. I went to the hospital twice, drank medicine for a few days and burned for four or five days. If you had used the antipyretic prescription introduced in the book, maybe your son wouldn't have to suffer so much.

I finished reading the first book in one breath today, but I still can't remember it all. Will put the book in a convenient position, have a general understanding of the book, and look through it at any time when necessary. At present, do some necessary food supplements first.

People need to eat a lot in this life, and they can't live without eating, drinking and sleeping every day. But many of us don't know what to eat in what environment, what to eat in what season, who should eat what, how to eat, when to eat, how much to eat, what symptoms to eat and so on.

Everything created by nature is just right, and there will never be any extra parts. The bits and pieces of leftovers may not be so delicious, but they are treasures that safeguard our lives. Whether it is sweet or bitter, it has its value.

People will get sick if they eat whole grains. We eat too many problems ourselves. There are many chronic diseases that can't be checked out in the hospital, but they just feel uncomfortable. When western medicine is helpless, we can find the corresponding treatment prescription from Chinese medicine to try.

Chen Yunbin, who was born in a family of traditional Chinese medicine, is a nutritionist who advocates simple diet therapy and timely health preservation. Her great-grandfather was a famous local doctor in the early 20th century, and he was a philanthropist. Because the poor at that time looked down on the disease and had no money to take medicine, minor illnesses delayed into serious illnesses, so they devoted themselves to studying simple and cheap diets and saved countless lives for decades. With the consent of parents and elders, Chen Yunbin compiled a book about his family's diet health care experience and folk remedies, many of which were the painstaking efforts of his ancestors for many years.

Influenced by my friend Mr. Liu, I have paid a little attention to Chinese medicine in the past two years. Not because I want to concentrate on Chinese medicine, but mainly for my children to learn and ponder. If you are clear-headed and quick-thinking, when your child has a little problem, such as the early stage of a cold, you will take immediate action, take a bath and drink ginger and onion water to stifle the symptoms of illness in the air. Children suffer less and need not drink medicine.

Sometimes Mr. Liu has something to do, or doesn't go to work on weekends, and there is a lack of needed Chinese medicine at home. I will call Mr. Liu and then go to Mr. Liu's shop to fill the medicine myself. Because Miss Liu's shop is on the second floor of a pharmacy, and the pharmacy is not closed, her shop can go in. As soon as I told the pharmacy staff, I went up by myself.

I can judge some symptoms by myself, and some need the remote assistance of Mr. Liu. Anyway, Mr. Liu knows everything, says everything, and sometimes instructs me how to judge on the spot.

Of course, Chinese medicine is really profound, and I only have a superficial understanding. Fortunately, we never tire of learning and like reading, haha. In the book "Wisdom of Going Home to Eat", many dietotherapy prescriptions that can be used directly are introduced.

(A) antipyretic prescription-silkworm excrement, bamboo shavings, Chenpi water

Materials: 30g of silkworm excrement, 30g of bamboo shavings and 30g of dried tangerine peel (reduced to 10g for children).

These three drugs are relatively mild, and it doesn't matter if there is more. These medicines are kept in my house all the year round. They used to be packed in sacks. When in urgent need, everyone grabs a handful of boiling water, which is not accurate to grams.

Practice: Wash the dried tangerine peel, put it into the pot with silkworm excrement and bamboo shavings, and add cold water to cook. Boil the water for another 3 minutes.

How to take it: Take it when you have a cold and high fever (the fever of adults exceeds 38.5℃ and that of children exceeds 39℃).

The average person can reduce the fever by drinking it once. You can drink it two or three times in severe cases, and you don't need to drink it after the fever has gone down.

Too young babies can't drink too much medicine at a time. It's better to put less water and cook it thicker. Feed it several times and drink it every 3 hours until the fever goes down.

Several drugs in this prescription are quite safe, and children and the elderly can use them with confidence.

Important reminder: If the cold has no high fever, but only a low fever, do not rush to reduce the fever at this time, and treat it according to the syndrome differentiation of wind-cold, wind-heat and so on. This prescription can only be used when you have a high fever, which means that the disease has penetrated into the spleen and stomach, not just exogenous diseases.

This prescription has been tried and tested for colds and fever, but it is ineffective for food accumulation. It is better and faster to make tea with houttuynia cordata for wind-heat cold, and burdock juice for tonsillitis.

(b) Sweet yellow mud: a dessert to increase children's intelligence.

Exercise:

(1) Take 10 eggs (this is the amount that several people eat together, and if one person eats it, it depends on his appetite), and separate the yolk from the egg white. Take only the yolk and stir.

(2) Put lard in the pot, add white sugar, pour egg yolk liquid after the sugar is dissolved, quickly stir it into mud, and then take it out of the pot.

Note: Of course, the main raw material of this dish is egg yolk, and lard and sugar are also useful. If lard is replaced by other oils and sugar is replaced by other sugars, the effect will be different.

Egg yolk nourishes the heart and calms the nerves. Nourishing the heart is nourishing the brain, and calming the nerves is actually supplementing nutrition to the cranial nerves. Why are children so restless and disobedient? This is because their parasympathetic nerves are still growing. If children's nerves are not adequately nourished, they are prone to ADHD or emotional instability. Boys are more naughty than girls because their nerves develop late. If the child is mentally stable, then he is obedient, attentive and has strong learning ability.

Lard nourishes yin and moistens dryness, and can clear lung fire. Children tend to accumulate heat in the lung meridian. When heat accumulates to a certain extent, it will manifest as dry cough, rash or constipation. Lard moistens dryness, not only lubricates intestines, but also dissolves toxins, so that these thermal toxins are excreted through stool.

This dish is definitely fragrant with lard, but not so fragrant with vegetable oil. I really don't want to eat lard. I can use butter instead.

A small amount of sugar, which is also clear of lung fire, can relieve cough and promote fluid production. White sugar and brown sugar are different in nature. Brown sugar is warm, while white sugar is heat-clearing.

This dish will often appear on the dining table of our family, and I look forward to the effect! Can you help me press the active daughter!

(3) Chicken and cheese soup: soup that the elderly can drink.

Ingredients: egg white 10, chicken breast100g, chicken soup, pea seedlings (lettuce leaves or lettuce cannot be used instead).

Exercise:

(1) Beat the remaining 10 egg whites with four or five chopsticks until all the chopsticks stand upright in the basin.

(2) Beat the chicken breast with the back of the knife and cut it into pieces. The more, the better.

(3) Boil the chicken soup, put down the minced chicken and stir fry, so that the soup will be thicker.

(4) Pour the beaten egg whites into the soup and stir. Turn off the heat when the egg white turns into white tofu.

(5) Turn the soup bowl green, that is, wash the raw pea seedlings, lettuce leaves or lettuce in the soup bowl, pour the boiled soup, blanch the leaves, and the chicken and cheese soup will be ready.

This soup is beautiful on the table. Chicken soup is clear, bean sprouts are green, and egg whites are white. They float on the noodle soup like clouds, which is very attractive.

The flavor of chicken cheese soup is highlighted by the word fresh. Pea seedlings are best for side dishes. The unique fragrance of pea seedlings is a perfect match with chicken soup.

Note: Never use strong-smelling dishes, such as spinach and wormwood stalks, or it will cover up the original taste of the soup.

As long as you drink chicken soup, you should pay attention to freshness, and don't put any seasoning, including salt. There are no mushrooms, let alone monosodium glutamate.

The biggest feature of chicken cheese soup is that you can't see chicken when you eat it. The chicken is melted in the soup and tastes fresh. Eating it will not burden the stomach, and it is very suitable for the elderly with weak teeth and digestive function.

Tip: Chicken must be mashed with the back of a knife, otherwise it can't be fluffy.

(4) Stewed eggs with Angelica sinensis

This diet prescription is often used when brushing videos, and female friends should know it.

Exercise:

(1) Slice the whole Angelica sinensis, add water and beat an egg.

(2) Turn off the fire immediately after boiling, cover the pot and stew the eggs into poached eggs.

Dog days, it's time to eat stewed eggs with angelica.
