Tai Ji Chuan, a martial art, is a small and compact differential form created by Mr. Wu Yuxiang on the basis of Chen Tai Ji Chuan and Zhao Bao Tai Ji Chuan, which integrates physical fitness, self-defense and self-cultivation, and is suitable for literati to practice. Later, it was called Tai Ji Chuan, a martial arts style. In the practice of practicing this set of boxing, Mr. Wu Yuxiang has formed a set of classic-Wu's Tai Ji Chuan Theory, which is concise and without floating words.
Taiji Chuan, a martial artist, is called Lao Mei, without affectation. Hands high and eyebrows high are not enough. Each hand is in charge of half of the body, and they do not cross each other. They pay attention to the combination of internal and external, and they will be folded when they advance and retreat. The latent air dominates the form, and their feet are like writing calligraphy on the earth. They strictly follow the rules, fight with others, do not pay attention to tricks, and pay attention to practical work.
Wu Yuxiang (1812–1880) is the founder of Wu Taiji Biography. His surname is Wu, he Qing, Ming Lian Quan, and he is from Yongnian County, Hebei Province. Martial arts have been passed down from generation to generation, and there are three brothers. Both brothers entered the scholar's mansion before taking up their posts. Yu Xiang practiced martial arts since childhood, was filial and chivalrous, a scholar in the countryside, a tribute student, and was selected and trained. About 1850, fellow villager Yang Luchan (1799-1872) returned to his hometown from Chenjiagou, wen county, Henan. Brothers like his skills and learn from Chen Tai Ji Chuan. 1852, went to Henan personally, and learned about Chen's new Taiji Chuaner Road for more than a month from Chen Qingping, Zhaobao Town, wen county, and got its exquisiteness, and got Wang Zongyue's Taiji Chuanpu from his eldest brother Wu Clarification. After reading it, he realized. On the basis of learning the old and new postures of Tai Chi Chen Chuan, combined with the essence of Tai Ji Chuan Spectrum, and through my own boxing practice experience, I created Artest Tai Ji Chuan's practice method with compact posture, slow movements, correct posture and light footwork, which requires diving with internal qi. This type is different from Chen Shi's old rack and new rack, and it is also different from Shi Yang's big rack and small rack, and it is unique. Later people called it Wu's Taiji Biography.
Wu's research on Tai Ji Chuan created an experimental method. Every time he was invited to test his skills, he repeatedly recorded and revised them, so China-style boxing was feasible and there was no empty frame.
Although Wu studied Tai Ji Chuan the most deeply, he finally taught himself. Therefore, there are few descendants of boxing, and only his nephew Li (also known as She) has the most exquisite skills.
Wu has written many works, such as thirteen-style exercises to be solved, Tai Chi explanation, Tai Chi explanation to be solved, thirteen-style explanations, four-character secrets, boxer release, eight essentials of body posture and so on. Wu's works are all written according to his own experience, so the late famous martial artist Gu called Wu's works "concise" references:
