Studying Medicine in Ma Bao (2): How to make simple diagnosis, prediction and treatment?
For lifelong learners, we will always be students, new people and always on the road.

As a treasure mother, I care about the healthy growth of myself, my children and my family.

I used to learn by reading parenting articles and books, but I found that it was all fragmented information and there was no way to form a system.

This is why I began to study psychology and Chinese medicine systematically from middle age, and made up the required courses in life.

Fortunately, it's never too late to start.

The best time to plant a tree is ten years ago, followed by now.

Charlie Munger, Buffett's partner, began to study psychology at the age of 90. With such an example before me, I'm afraid it's too late to start.

These two articles collate and share some thoughts on learning Chinese medicine and combining psychology during this period.

As applied theoretical systems, both psychology and traditional Chinese medicine have the functions of describing, explaining, predicting and regulating certain phenomena.

In the last article, I introduced.

1. Description: What's wrong with you?

2. Explanation: Why are you sick?

This paper continues to talk about the role of prediction and regulation.

The third function of theory is prediction, that is, to predict and warn the trend of problems.

The basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine mentioned in the last article includes yin-yang and five elements.

The first part introduces the concept of Yin and Yang. Now let's talk about the five elements.

Chinese medicine believes that everything in the world is composed of five elements: wood, fire, earth, gold and water. Just as Aristotle, an ancient Greek philosopher, put forward the theory of four elements, he believed that the matter in the world was composed of four elements: earth, air, water and fire.

These five substances have their own properties.

Shang Shu Hong Fan: "Water is moist, fire is inflamed, wood is straight, gold leather is rich, and soil is rich." It is an overview of various attributes.

There is also a mutual relationship between them.

* * Note: Before studying Chinese medicine, I often said: Jin Mu is a land of fire and water. After studying Chinese medicine, I said: Wood, fire, earth, gold and water are arranged in the order of five elements, that is, wood makes fire, fire makes earth, earth makes gold, gold makes water, and aquatic wood. If this is harmonious, everything will be fine.

What Chinese medicine is talking about is: the unity of heaven and man, putting people between heaven and earth and looking at the universe. While treating human diseases, we should also consider the influence of five movements and six qi, four seasons, geographical location and environmental changes on the human body.

In the theoretical system of traditional Chinese medicine, the four seasons and directions of nature, the liver, heart, spleen, lung and kidney of human body should correspond to the five elements of wood, fire, earth, gold and water. Then, the balance of the human body is adjusted by using the principle that the five elements generate each other, which not only treats the "sick" but also predicts and treats the "not sick".

"Su Wen's Four Qi Tunes the Spirit": "A saint will be ill if he doesn't cure".

"synopsis of the golden chamber": "if the husband treats the disease before it happens, he will see the disease of the liver, know that the liver transmits the spleen, and strengthen the spleen first. If the spleen is strong in the four seasons, don't make it up; Chinese workers don't know the story, see the disease of the liver, don't understand the spleen, but treat the liver. "

The general idea is that a good Chinese doctor can predict that the patient's liver has problems, and then this problem will be transmitted to the spleen, so strengthen the spleen first and take precautions. And a doctor with insufficient level will not think of preventing asplenia, but will only treat liver diseases.

The same is true of psychology, depending on the specific situation.

For example, two college entrance examination students, A and B, went to psychological counseling because they were nervous about the exam. A's problem is that I'm worried about not sleeping well tonight, because I caught a cold yesterday, which will affect my normal performance in the exam tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. B's problem is that I failed in the college entrance examination last year, and I have been worried about repeating the same mistakes in this year's college entrance examination. I have been having sleep disorders for the last two months.

Analysis: The problem of A is relatively light and easy to handle; And B's exam nervousness and sleep disorder are causal and interactive, which requires experienced consultants to help him with professional tools and techniques, and the whole consultation time will be longer. (Reference: Psychological Counselor, Level 3, P 194- 196)

The prediction function can make doctors and patients clearly understand the trend and dynamics of the problem.

The last main function of applied theory is to adjust and eliminate the influence of problems, that is, to solve problems.

For us ordinary people, unlike professionals who do psychological counseling, we are doctors. After spending so much spare time and energy studying, the most important thing is to solve practical problems and make life better.

Both Chinese medicine and psychology believe that people have the function of self-healing. Sick because the self-healing system is disturbed by internal and external factors, so it can't work normally. Traditional Chinese medicine and psychological counselors are trying to restart your self-healing system.

The key point: your illness is ultimately regulated by your own system. It was a coincidence that you met Chinese medicine practitioners and psychological counselors. Let ta help you.

In ancient China, there was a famous doctor named Huang Yuanyu, who wrote a book called Four Saints of Heart Source, which was about the "Qi flowing around" of human body. If you adjust your breathing, you will recover.

Many prescriptions of Huang Yuanyu are used to regulate the spleen and stomach of middle energizer. He believes that the spleen and stomach are the foundation and the hub. When the spleen and stomach are adjusted, the human body will naturally recover slowly.

There is also a famous Chinese medicine book called Ancient Chinese Medicine in Circular Motion. Compare the human body to a circle.

Under normal circumstances, this circle will run automatically, so some minor illnesses will heal themselves without seeing a doctor. And sometimes, when encountering some serious problems, this circle cannot operate on its own. You need an external force to make the circle rotate again.

In the field of traditional Chinese medicine, this external force can be internal treatment or external treatment. Internal treatment is to take Chinese medicine to adjust the balance of yin and yang; External therapy refers to adjustment through acupuncture and massage.

Teacher Huang, who taught us Treatise on Febrile Diseases, introduced a case in which she cured a patient's constipation with Guizhi Decoction.

An elderly patient has been suffering from constipation. In the past, doctors used drugs to promote fluid production, lubricate the intestines and let him defecate, but every time the drugs stopped, constipation appeared again and was not cured.

Mr. Huang reconciled camp and health through Guizhi decoction, restarted the patient's self-healing system, made his body produce fluid by itself, and cured constipation.

Therefore, it is very important to find an experienced doctor.

Psychological counselors also use some psychological counseling methods and skills to guide visitors to adjust themselves and return to normal life.

Of course, first of all, judge whether it is organic or psychogenic disease.

Take pain as an example. Psychogenic pain can be quickly solved by hypnosis.

If it is an organic disease, such as severe schizophrenia and depression, it can only be treated with drugs.

A good TCM doctor and a good psychological counselor, the ultimate goal is to make patients and visitors recover (physically and psychologically), leave the hospital and consulting room, and return to a normal life track.

This is the realm of great doctors' sincerity. Technology is very important, and more importantly, virtue and cultivation.

So far, the four functions of the theoretical system: description, explanation, prediction and adjustment have all been introduced.

Thinking of Chinese medicine and psychology, there is another special similarity, that is, it is very dizzy to learn! Do a good job in psychological construction first.

Traditional Chinese medicine and psychology have various schools and technologies. There is a saying that "once you enter the heart, it is as deep as the sea."

There are various great gods and theories in psychology, including Freud, Jung and Eriksson. Important schools include psychoanalysis, behaviorism, humanism and cognitive psychology. Specific treatment methods include music therapy, painting therapy, hypnosis, painting, systematic family therapy, family rehearsal, OH card, short-term concentration and Satya.

The same is true of Chinese medicine.

To understand the basic knowledge of Chinese medicine, we must know how to look at the gods, see the tongue coating, understand different pulse conditions, and understand the human body's 12 meridians, direction, meridian flow direction, 36 1 acupoints and the efficacy of each acupoint.

Listen, it's too much, right? When you study Chinese medicine, you will find that it is nothing!

Hundreds of traditional Chinese medicines and prescriptions, each of which has sex and taste. Different compatibility and dosage of traditional Chinese medicine have different effects.

After studying Chinese medicine, I think the biggest problem is: illiteracy! I don't know the characteristics of many Chinese medicines. The feeling of learning Chinese characters from scratch.

When I first came into contact with these two subjects, I simply collapsed. Learn to learn and you will be calm. I can't finish learning anyway. Look at fate.

Write here, sum up some experiences of studying Chinese medicine and psychology during this period.

Looking back, both psychology and traditional Chinese medicine, as applied theoretical systems, have the functions of describing, explaining, predicting and regulating certain phenomena.

In these two articles, I shared my learning experience.

1. Description: What's wrong with you?

2. Explanation: Why are you sick?

3. Prediction: the development of the disease

4. Provisions: How to treat them?

As an ordinary Bauer mother, I study Chinese medicine and psychology just to take care of myself and my family. Of course, it is also good to have the opportunity to help people around you, depending on fate.

As a scholar and lifelong learner, the best moment is to see isomorphic ideas from different theories. It's a wonderful feeling.

It's done.
