Seasonal health

The climate of the four seasons has its own characteristics: warm spring and healthy spring, hot summer and long summer, cool autumn and harvest in autumn, and winter storage and winter storage. But what they have is an inseparable whole and a constantly changing process. Without growth, there will be no collection, and there will be no growth in the second year. It is precisely because of the changes in cold, heat, coolness, growth and collection that life develops and grows normally. On this point, Chinese medicine explains it like this, for example, "Four seasons yin is the foundation of all things" in Neijing Suwen-A Great Theory of Four Qi Regulating the Spirit. The so-called "four seasons of yin and yang" refers to the changes of cold, hot and cool temperatures throughout the year, which are formed by the rise and fall of yin and yang in a year, so it is called "four seasons of yin and yang". For example, the solstice in winter is the process of yang generating and yin eliminating, so there are spring temperatures and summer heat; Summer solstice-cloudy, from autumn to winter is the process of yin generating and yang dying, so it is said that autumn is cool and winter is cold. Due to the change of forty yin and yang, there are laws of biological development and growth in Tibet in spring, summer, autumn and winter, so four seasons yin and yang are the foundation of all things. Fundamental, that is, the source of life and death of all things.

"Six Qi" refers to the six climates of wind, cold, heat, humidity, dryness and fire in the mouth of nature. These six kinds of climate are produced by climate change all the year round. Although they have their own characteristics, they restrict each other. Because of these six normal climate changes, only the temperature, heat, cool, cold, growth and collection of Yin and Yang changes in a year, so the natural climate can be adjusted to each other. Following and using this law to maintain the dynamic balance of yin and yang is beneficial to human beings, while destroying this balance will be "disastrous"

"Man is born with the spirit of heaven and earth" also refers to the origin of human life, which comes from heaven, earth, sun and moon, mainly from the sun and the earth, especially the fire of the sun and the water of the earth.

Everything grows on the sun, and all living things, in the final analysis, depend on the light energy and heat energy of the sun. Light and heat are the energy sources of life on earth. Without enough light and heat, life cannot happen and exist. Engels said: "Our earth itself can only survive because of the heat of the sun ..... Without the repulsive movement of the sun radiating to us, all movements on the earth will definitely stop" (dialectics of nature). The food we eat every day comes directly or indirectly from plants, the fuel we use also comes from plants, from their photosynthesis, and its energy comes from the sun, so there is no life on earth without the sun.

Motherland medicine also believes that "heaven and earth are in harmony, and everything is gorgeous", that is to say, even if there is the sun's yang and the earth's yin, and the two do not intersect and transform, any life phenomenon is impossible. In this regard, Neijing Lingshu-Ben Shen Pian said very generously: "Heaven is in my virtue, the earth is in my spirit, and virtue is thin and born." Here, the flow of virtue is thin, that is, heaven and earth are interlinked. Only in this way can things be biochemical. This explains why there is no life on other planets. There are at least three conditions for the existence of primitive life:

First of all, there must be a suitable temperature. If the temperature is too high or too low, no living thing can exist. Planets are too hot if they are too close to the sun, and too cold if they are too far away from the sun. Chinese medicine believes that "yang wins is hot, and yin wins is cold."

Second, it is necessary to have water, because most of the protein in organisms exists in aqueous solutions. If there is no water, the living function of living things will stop or die.

Third, there should be an atmosphere with suitable composition. Oxygen and carbon dioxide are essential gases for life activities, but this planet is too small to attract air and too big to live without water.

Only when the earth and the sun are in the current transportation relationship, most of the ground receives solar energy moderately and evenly, resulting in a situation of "yin and yang staggered" and "heaven and earth combined", so life was born under appropriate light and heat, water vapor and air conditions.

The law of the four seasons, achievement.

The so-called "four seasons" means that human beings can only develop and grow if they adapt to the law of yin and yang changes in the four seasons. The changes of natural climate in spring, summer, autumn and winter are also contrary to human life activities, so the human body must adapt to the climate changes of the four seasons to maintain life activities. Otherwise, it will disturb the physiological rhythm of the human body and reduce the disease resistance and adaptability. Therefore, spring is long, summer is long, autumn is long, harvest is long, and winter storage has the law of biological development and growth, so Yin and Yang in four seasons are the foundation of all things, so saints nourish qi in spring, get angry in summer, gather qi in autumn and store qi in winter to adapt to the changes of Yin and Yang in four seasons. If it violates the four seasons of Yin and Yang, it will destroy the vitality of the human body and exhaust the true qi.

Spring regimen

Spring, from the day of beginning of spring to the day of long summer, includes six solar terms: beginning of spring, Rain, Sting, Equinox, Qingming and Grain Rain.

Spring is the first of the four seasons. How to maintain the yang in spring? In Huangdi Neijing, it is clearly pointed out that "virtual evil steals wind, and sometimes it is necessary to avoid it", which means that common cold, who can make people sick, should be able to avoid it in time. This is especially important in spring. The reason is that spring is the main order of the atmosphere. Although common cold exists all year round, it is mainly in spring.

1. Eat more food that warms and tonifies the yang.

In spring, in terms of diet, we should first implement the principle of "nourishing yang in spring and summer" put forward in Huangdi Neijing, that is to say, in terms of diet, we should eat more foods that can warm and replenish yang. Li Shizhen's Compendium of Materia Medica, quoted from Local Notes, argues that "tender vegetables such as onion, garlic, leek, Polygonum hydropiper, Artemisia annua and mustard should be mixed". Besides Polygonum hydropiper and Artemisia annua, onion, garlic and leek are the best aphrodisiacs.

Although leeks are evergreen all the year round, people eat them all the year round, but it is best to eat them in spring, just like the book says, "leeks are fragrant in spring and smelly in summer." In spring, the climate is suddenly cold and warm, so it is necessary to maintain the yang, and leek is warm and most suitable for human yang.

The so-called dish of the liver means that eating leeks is beneficial to the function of the liver. Chinese medicine believes that spring corresponds to the liver, one of the five internal organs of the human body. In spring, human liver qi tends to be vigorous, which affects the digestion and absorption function of spleen and stomach. But eating more leeks in spring can enhance the qi of the spleen and stomach. From this point of view, it is also appropriate to eat more leeks. Because leeks are not easy to digest, don't eat too much at a time. In addition, people with stomach deficiency and heat, fire and indigestion are not suitable for eating.

There are too many ways to treat leek, such as nausea and vomiting. Add two spoonfuls of leek juice and a little ginger juice to half a cup of milk and take it warm. If you have impotence and premature ejaculation, you can wash the juice with fresh raw leeks, 250g each time, twice a day, and take it for a week. Stir-fried shrimps with leeks are also helpful for tonifying kidney, diuresis and aphrodisiac.

Garlic: Recently, a unique "garlic restaurant" appeared in Japan, serving all delicious food with garlic as ingredients. Such as Thai-style garlic stewed chicken and garlic bread; Japanese-style garlic noodles; China flavor garlic carp; There are more than 100 kind of garlic dishes, such as garlic biscuits with American flavor.

Garlic is favored by people because it not only has strong bactericidal power, but also has obvious curative effect on colds, diarrhea, gastroenteritis and tonsillitis caused by bacteria, and also has the functions of promoting metabolism, stimulating appetite, preventing arteriosclerosis and hypertension. According to the latest research, garlic also has a certain brain-nourishing effect, because garlic can enhance the effect of vitamin B 1 (garlic can synthesize with vitamin B 1 to produce a substance called "alliin". Alliin is more effective than vitamin B 1, and vitamin B 1 is an important auxiliary substance involved in the process of transforming glucose into brain energy. According to the latest research of Seibersdorf Research Center in Austria, garlic can resist the harm of radioactive substances to human body and reduce the adverse consequences.

Onions: Onions can be divided into green onions, shallots and winter onions. It is a common condiment for people to cook. It is rich in nutrition. Take green onions as an example. Every 100g contains protein 1- 1.8g, fat 0.3-0.7g, calcium 12-89mg, carotene 1- 1.6mg and vitamin B65438. Onions also contain allicin, which has a strong bactericidal effect. Respiratory infectious diseases are prevalent in winter and spring, and intestinal infectious diseases are prevalent in summer and autumn. Eating some raw onions has a preventive effect.

Scientists have found that eating more shallots can induce blood cells to produce interferon and enhance human immune function. Someone in the United States has extracted kind of garlic from onion, which has a good effect on cardiovascular sclerosis. A doctor in France confirmed that onion can also enhance fibrinolytic activity, reduce blood lipid, digest blood clots and avoid thrombosis. After eating greasy food, eating onions in moderation can lower cholesterol. Cholesterol in people who often eat onions is not easy to deposit on the blood vessel wall.

Chinese medicine believes that onion is a medicine, and its leaves can benefit the five internal organs and eliminate edema; Scallion can promote yang sweating, detoxify and reduce swelling; Onion juice can dissipate blood stasis, relieve pain and detoxify; Onion root can cure hematochezia and eliminate hemorrhoids. In Compendium of Materia Medica, there are 54 prescriptions for treating diseases with onions, which can cure dozens of diseases. 500 grams of scallion and 250 grams of garlic for folk use, chopped and boiled with 2000 grams of water, three times a day, one cup each time, can prevent influenza; If you have stomachache, hyperacidity and indigestion, you can mash 4 onions and add 500 grams of brown sugar for several days.

After eating raw onion, it will leave onion flavor in the cavity, which can be removed by gargling with strong tea or chewing a few pieces of tea.

There are many foods that can warm and tonify the yang in spring, so I won't give an example here. In a word, it is advisable to eat more warm food in spring, while those with yin deficiency and excessive fire are another matter.

2. Eat more sweet and less sour.

Chinese medicine believes that the spleen and stomach are the foundation of the day after tomorrow, the source of qi and blood, and the spleen and stomach are full of qi, which can prolong life. However, spring is a season of vigorous liver qi, and the function of the liver is on the high side. According to the theory of five elements in Chinese medicine, the liver belongs to wood and the spleen belongs to soil, which means that liver hyperactivity will hurt the spleen and affect its digestion and absorption function. Chinese medicine also believes that the five internal organs are tasteless, such as sour taste to the liver and salty taste to the spleen. If you eat more sour food, it will strengthen the function of the liver, make the already vigorous liver qi more vigorous, and do great harm to the spleen and stomach qi. In view of this, in spring, people should eat less sour food to prevent liver qi from flourishing; And sweet food into the spleen can tonify the temper, so eat more. What food should I eat more in spring?

Jujube: Jujube is sweet and flat, especially in spring. People in China have always regarded jujube as a good product for invigorating qi. For thousands of years, jujube has been cherished by people from generation to generation. There was a story in "North Dream Lock Language": "There are dates in Yongle County in the river, and it is said that seedless dates can survive in the world. Sue's daughter eats it instead of grain, and gets married at the age of 50, like a virgin. " Although the plot is not completely true, it is not nonsense. Jujube is called "natural vitamin pill" abroad, and its vitamin P content is the highest among all fruits, and the contents of phosphorus and calcium are 2- 12 times that of ordinary fruits. Jujube is a food for nourishing blood and strengthening the spleen and stomach.

Yam: Sweet, flat and non-toxic, it has the functions of invigorating spleen and qi, nourishing lung and stomach, tonifying kidney and solidifying essence, promoting granulation, moistening fur, nourishing and strengthening. Suitable for weakness, loss of appetite, dyspepsia, chronic diarrhea, cough, nocturnal emission, night sweats, frequent urination, etc. Eating in spring is especially good. First, invigorating the spleen and benefiting qi can prevent liver qi from damaging the spleen in spring. Second, it can tonify kidney and replenish essence, make human body full of yang, and enhance human resistance and immunity; Third, it is rich in nutrients, including protein 1.5g, carbohydrate 14.4g, calcium 14mg, phosphorus 42mg, iron 0.3mg and vitamin C4. In addition, it also contains saponins, choline, mucus, amylase, iodine, arginine and other ingredients.

Because yam contains more starch, it can be eaten instead of grain after cooking. Most of them are beets, such as shredded yam, yipin yam, crystal yam balls, roasted yam and so on. It is also an important raw material for cooking fried pork chops, vegetarian sausages, vegetarian ribs and other dishes. Yam is edible, especially in spring.

Eat more vegetables

Because after winter, people generally suffer from a serious shortage of vitamins, inorganic salts and trace elements, such as stomatitis, angular stomatitis, glossitis, night blindness and some skin diseases in spring, all of which are caused by nutritional imbalance caused by eating less fresh vegetables. Therefore, when spring comes, people must eat more fresh vegetables. The following vegetables are available:

Spinach: It is one of the main choices of vegetables in spring, also called Persian cuisine. Fresh and delicious, rich in nutrition, good in food and medicine. Chinese medicine believes that spinach has the functions of nourishing, stopping bleeding and moistening dryness. If people have symptoms such as hypertension, constipation, headache and blushing, they can wash fresh spinach and cook it in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Take it out and chop it with a little sesame oil and salt, and eat it as a dish twice a day. It is very effective. If you are a diabetic, you can take 60 grams of spinach root and 0/5 grams of Endothelium Corneum Gigeriae Galli/KLOC-in water without tea. Or chop spinach roots, grind chicken's gizzard-membrane into powder, and cook porridge with rice. If it is night blindness, use 500 grams of fresh spinach to mash juice, one dose a day, three times, but regular use will be effective.

Shepherd's purse: Before and after Tomb-Sweeping Day, shepherd's purse stems and leaves are fresh and tender, which is a good time for picking. According to the analysis, shepherd's purse is rich in amino acids, protein, vitamins, sugar inorganic salts, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, iron, manganese and other beneficial components. There are many ways to eat shepherd's purse, whether it is fried, boiled, stewed, fried, stuffed, made into soup or made into spring rolls. The taste is fragrant and delicious, fresh but not vulgar, and the flavor is unique.

Chinese medicine believes that shepherd's purse is sweet and light in taste, slightly cold in nature, and can cool blood and stop bleeding, clear liver and improve eyesight, clear heat and induce diuresis. It is mainly used to treat women's metrorrhagia, hemoptysis, nosebleed, hematochezia, urinary system infection and hypertension. If women have menorrhagia and postpartum lochia, take 60 grams of shepherd's purse and 60 grams of purslane, and decoct them with water. If there is hemoptysis, hematemesis, hematuria and hematochezia, 60 grams of shepherd's purse, 30 grams of cogongrass rhizome and 30 grams of fresh lotus root nodes are decocted, which can also stop bleeding; If it is arteriosclerosis, using 60 grams of fresh shepherd's purse every day, adding appropriate amount of water, boiling, beating 3 eggs, eating eggs and drinking soup can improve the symptoms of dizziness and headache.

Lettuce: also known as lettuce, the production period is in early spring and late autumn, and the quality of bamboo shoots is better. Lettuce contains a variety of vitamins and inorganic salts, among which iron is rich. Because of the role of organic acids and enzymes in lettuce, it is beneficial to human absorption. Eating fresh lettuce in ancient times was very beneficial to treat all kinds of anemia. In particular, lettuce also contains an enzyme, which can eliminate cell mutation caused by nitrosamines, a strong carcinogen, and has a certain anti-cancer effect. Nicotinic acid in lettuce is a component of some important enzymes in human body, which can activate insulin and promote glucose metabolism, which is very beneficial to the elderly with diabetes. In addition, the fluorine contained in lettuce contributes to the formation of teeth and bones.

Some people often throw away lettuce leaves when eating lettuce, which is a great waste, because the nutrient content of lettuce leaves is higher than lettuce, among which carotene is 0/00 times higher than that of vitamin C/0/5 times higher than that of lettuce.

In addition to the above vegetables, there are some seasonal vegetables that can also be eaten in spring, such as celery, rape and Toona sinensis buds. If there are few fresh vegetables in early spring, we can make full use of various methods to process and store vegetables, such as pickled radish, ginger, onion, Chinese cabbage, mustard tuber, mustard tuber and so on.

Summer regimen

Summer refers to the lunar calendar from April to June, that is, from the day of long summer to the day of beginning of autumn. It includes six solar terms, namely, long summer, small full, awn seed, summer solstice, light summer and great summer.

In the four seasons of the year, summer is the season with the highest yang, and the climate is hot and full of vitality. For people, this is a period of vigorous metabolism. The yang of the human body is outward, including yin, and the blood circulation is correspondingly vigorous and active on the body surface. In order to adapt to the hot climate, skin pores are opened to drain water and sweat is discharged. By sweating, regulate body temperature to adapt to the hot summer climate.

sdfsadf

Pay attention to diet conditioning in summer, because people work in a hot environment, and significant changes have taken place in body temperature regulation, water and salt metabolism, circulation, digestion, nervous system, endocrine and urinary system, which eventually lead to enhanced metabolism and increased nutrient consumption. On the other hand, sweating in hot days leads to the loss of many nutrients in sweat. In summer, people's loss of appetite, poor digestion and absorption limit the normal intake of nutrients, which may lead to the disorder of nutrient metabolism in the body, and even cause corresponding malnutrition or other diseases. Summer diet aftercare is very necessary, the specific method is:

1. Pay attention to supplement some nutrition.

(1) Enough protein should be added.

This is because at high temperature, the decomposition of human tissue protein increases, and creatinine in urine and sweat nitrogen balance. Therefore, the intake of protein should be increased by 10%- 15% on the usual basis, and the daily supply should reach about 100g, and attention should be paid to supplementing lysine. Among fish, meat, eggs, milk and beans, protein is the best in protein.

(2) vitamin supplementation.

This is because of the increase of vitamin metabolism in hot environment, and the elimination of water-soluble vitamins, especially vitamin C, in sweat. After determination, the vitamin C in each milliliter of sweat can reach 10 microgram, and 50 milligrams will be lost when sweating for 5 liters. In addition, the sweat also contains vitamins B 1 and B2. Therefore, in summer, the human body's demand for vitamins is twice or more than the common standard, and large doses of vitamins B 1, B2, C and even vitamin A\E have certain effects on improving heat resistance and physical strength.

Fresh vegetables and fruits ripe in summer, such as tomatoes, watermelons, bayberries, melons, peaches and plums, are especially rich in vitamin C. Vitamin B is abundant in cereals, beans, animal livers, lean meat and eggs. In summer, people can supplement these foods properly or take some yeast tablets orally.

(3) supplementing water and inorganic salts

When the body sweats a lot or the body temperature is too high, not only is there insufficient water in the body, but also a lot of sodium and potassium will be lost. The lack of sodium will cause serious water shortage, which needs to be supplemented with water and inorganic salts. It is best to replenish water several times with a small amount to slow down perspiration and reduce water evaporation. Sodium supplement depends on how much you sweat. If a person works for 8 hours and sweats less than 4 liters, it is enough to take 18 grams of salt from food every day; If the sweating amount exceeds 6 liters, it needs to be supplemented from the beverage, but the concentration of potassium chloride in the beverage should not exceed 0.2%. The supplement amount of potassium salt is 2 potassium tablets per day, and each potassium tablet contains 25 mmol of potassium. In addition, you can eat some foods with high potassium content, such as fruits, vegetables, beans or bean products, kelp, eggs and so on.

Sweat contains not only sodium and potassium, but also calcium, magnesium, iron, copper, zinc, sulfur, phosphorus, manganese and chromium. If it is not supplemented in time, it will also cause water and salt metabolism and acid-base balance disorder, affect heat resistance and easily induce heatstroke. So, don't forget to add water and inorganic salts in summer.

2. Eat more foods that can clear away heat and promote diuresis.

In summer, in addition to supplementing some nutrition, we must eat more foods that clear away heat and promote diuresis. Among them, heat-clearing food should be eaten in midsummer, and dampness-promoting food should be eaten in long summer, because Chinese medicine believes that "long summer is wetter." So, what foods have the above effects?

Watermelon: In hot summer, eating a few watermelons can not only clear away heat and detoxify, relieve annoyance and quench thirst, but also promote diuresis and digestion. In recent years, medical research has found that watermelon contains sugar, salt and protease, which can lower blood pressure, soften blood vessels, resist pregnancy and treat nephritis and edema. Studies also show that people who have a hobby of smoking and drinking and like salty food are prone to esophageal cancer, but eating watermelon regularly can reduce the risk of esophageal cancer.

Bitter gourd: There is a Hakka folk song circulating in Guangdong Province, China: "People say bitter gourd is bitter, and I say bitter gourd is sweet;" Bitterness is your choice. Without bitterness, there is no sweetness. "Bitter gourd is named after its bitter taste. The content of vitamin C is very high (84 mg/100 g), and it also contains protein, fat, sugar, calcium, phosphorus, carotene, vitamin B and so on. Jiangsu bitter gourd contains 6.6 mg of iron per 100 grams, which is amazing.

Here are some ways to eat bitter gourd.

Use bitter gourd as herbal tea, drink it in summer, and clear the fire to cool off the heat;

Slice bitter gourd, marinate in salt for a while, then add minced meat, stir-fry with garlic and lobster sauce, which is beautiful and dangerous;

To treat heatstroke and fever, cut a fresh bitter gourd, add tea, close it again, hang it in a ventilated place and dry it in the shade, 5- 10g each time, decoct it in water or soak it in boiling water, instead of replacing tea;

Tired of heat and thirst, use a fresh bitter gourd, cut open to remove the pulp, chop it up and fry it in water;

Use a fresh bitter gourd, mash it into mud, add appropriate amount of sugar, and stir well. After 2 hours, the water is filtered and taken once in cold, which can cure acute dysentery.

Peach: Fresh peach is a kind of nutritious and healthy fruit. The ancient Buddha peaches in China were called "Shoutao" and the flat peaches were called "Xiantao", which were often used as tributes or gifts. It is considered as "pleasing to the eye and prolonging life after eating".

Mume: In midsummer, for the sake of family health, it is best to drink more Mume juice and Sour Plum Soup. Mume is flat in nature and sour in taste, and enters the liver, spleen, lungs and large intestine. It has antipyretic, restive, antidiarrheal, antitussive and anthelmintic effects. According to modern medical research, ebony contains wax-like substances such as malic acid, succinic acid, citric acid and sitosterol. Eating more ebony in midsummer can first increase antibacterial ability, because ebony can inhibit dysentery Bacillus, Escherichia coli, typhoid fever, tuberculosis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and various skin fungi.

Strawberry: Originated in Europe, it was introduced to China at the beginning of this century. Strawberry pulp is juicy, sweet and sour, rich in flavor and nutrition, and is known as the "fruit queen". Strawberries are not only delicious, but also have certain medicinal value. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that it has the effects of clearing heat and relieving summer heat, moistening lung and resolving phlegm, inducing diuresis and stopping diarrhea, and helping digestion. In recent years, it has been proved to be effective in preventing atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease and cerebral hemorrhage. Vitamins and pectin in fruits have significant effects on treating hemorrhoids, hypertension and high cholesterol. Strawberry amine extracted from it is also effective in treating leukemia, anemia and other blood diseases. There are many ways to eat strawberries. Besides being fresh, they can also be made into jam, fruit juice, fruit wine, preserved fruit and so on.

Tomatoes: Although they can be seen in the market all year round, spring is the most common. Tomatoes are rich in nutrients, and each 100g contains 0.4- 1.6g of protein, 0.28g of fat, 0. 18g of carbohydrate, 7.6mg of calcium, 34.8mg of phosphorus, 0.4mg of iron, and vitamins A, B 1, B2, C and C. The content of vitamin A is 15 times that of lettuce. Vitamin C is equivalent to1.25kg of apples,1.5kg of pears and 2kg of pears.

Tomatoes with good color, fragrance and taste can not only be eaten, but also be used medicinally. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that it tastes sour and sweet, has the functions of clearing away heat and toxic materials, cooling blood and calming liver, relieving summer heat and quenching thirst, and is suitable for heatstroke, hypertension, gingival bleeding, stomach heat, bitter taste, fever and polydipsia.

Mung beans: Li Shizhen once spoke highly of mung beans as a "good valley for saving the world". On a hot day, drinking a bowl of mung bean soup after work and labor will make you refreshed, thirsty and relaxed. This is because mung beans have the effects of clearing away heat and toxic materials, quenching thirst and diuresis. Mung bean soup can be cold, hot, sweet or light, can adapt to different tastes, is convenient and concise, and has satisfactory results. More valuable, mung bean can cure all poisoning, such as alcoholism, wild mushroom poisoning, arsenic poisoning, erysipelas poisoning, drug poisoning, especially food poisoning. In addition, mung beans can also relieve swelling and itching, and converge and promote granulation. And skin sores, mostly in hot days, such as prickly heat, dermatitis, eczema, boils, burns are also mostly in hot days. Prickly heat can be boiled with mung beans, lotus leaves and white sugar to relieve inflammation and itching.

Cucumber: "Materia Medica Seeking Truth" says that cucumber is "sweet in taste, cold in nature, and can clear away heat and benefit water", so it is good to eat more cucumbers in hot summer. The water content of cucumber is 96 ~ 98%, which is the highest among vegetables.

It contains very delicate cellulose, which plays a certain role in promoting the excretion of rotten food in the intestine and lowering cholesterol.

What's more gratifying is that fresh cucumber also contains propanedioic acid, which can inhibit the conversion of sugar into fat. Eating more cucumbers can reduce weight and is good for fat people.

3. Summer diet should save labor and increase enthusiasm. In addition to clearing away heat and relieving summer heat, we should also be careful not to damage the spleen and lungs. In summer, we must eat less hot food, such as mutton and dog meat. Modern medicine believes that the stimulation of high temperature in summer,

The nervous center is in a state of tension, and the activity level of endocrine glands has also changed, resulting in decreased digestive ability, loss of appetite and unwillingness to eat. So it is best to eat some light and digestible food in summer, if you are fat.

Too much food can easily reduce the secretion of gastric juice and slow down gastric emptying.

4. Keep your diet warm.

It is generally advisable to eat warm food in summer. "The Mirror of Health" points out: "The midsummer season is a time when people lose their spirits. At this time, the heart is flourishing and the kidney is failing, and it is liquefied into water. No matter young or old, you should eat something warm and rest alone. " The "heart flourishing and kidney failing" here means that the yang is strong and the yin is weak, and eating warm food is to help the yang, which is in line with the principle of "nourishing the yang in spring and summer". How to eat warm food? Health people believe that drinking porridge for breakfast and dinner is of great benefit, which can quench thirst, relieve summer heat and nourish the body. For example, red bean porridge has the functions of tonifying kidney, eliminating edema and treating beriberi, and people with poor renal function had better eat more; Broad bean porridge can help treat edema and chronic nephritis, lotus leaf porridge can relieve summer heat, clear stomach and moisten intestines, quench thirst and detoxify, and can treat sore throat; Lotus seed porridge can strengthen the spleen and stomach, replenish qi and strengthen the will, and has certain curative effect on diarrhea, insomnia, nocturnal emission and leukorrhagia. Lily porridge can moisten the lungs and relieve cough, nourish the heart and soothe the nerves, which is most suitable for the elderly with insufficient lung yin. Winter melon porridge is beneficial to water swelling, quenching thirst and promoting fluid production, and has the effect of lowering blood pressure; Auricularia auricula porridge has the functions of promoting fluid production, moistening lung, nourishing yin and nourishing lung, and can be used for treating hypertension and chronic bronchitis. Astragalus porridge can treat edema caused by spleen deficiency; Douban porridge and preserved egg mussel porridge can treat arteriosclerosis, hypertension and coronary heart disease.

5. knowledge of drinking cold drinks

With the improvement of people's healthy living standards, drinks have entered thousands of households, especially in the hot summer, colorful drinks have almost become something that people can't put down. Generally speaking, the hot summer climate often leads to ignorance.

People feel thirsty from time to time because of venting and sweating, so drinking cold drinks can help the body dissipate heat, supplement water, salt and vitamins in the body, and play the role of promoting fluid production to quench thirst, clearing heat and relieving summer heat. However, TCM health experts realize that

Therefore, in summer, the yang of the human body is outside and the yin is inside, so the secretion of gastric juice is relatively reduced and the digestive function is low. Therefore, avoid cold drinks because of gluttony. If excessive, it will cause diseases, make people feel abdominal distension and discomfort, and lead to abdominal pain and diarrhea. therefore

The folk proverb says: "Although it is hot, you should not be greedy for cold;" Although melons and fruits are beautiful, you can't eat more. "This is a summary of people's long-term life experience. In addition, don't drink too many cold drinks when sweating, because most of them are not only endless.

Quickly replenish and regulate the loss of salt and water in the body, but dilute the gastric juice, reduce its bactericidal power, make pathogenic microorganisms pass through the gastrointestinal tract, and cause gastritis, enteritis, dysentery and other diseases, especially for some patients with chronic diseases.

Eating cold drinks should be selective and temperate. For example, patients with coronary heart disease, asthma and chronic bronchitis should not eat more frozen food. So as not to aggravate the condition or induce the recurrence of the old disease. For diseases such as gastric ulcer and hyperacidity,

Sour cold drinks should not be used more; Diabetic patients should add little or no sugar to their homemade cold drinks, otherwise they will feel sweet and greasy in their mouths or upset in their stomachs.

If you can, you can also make some summer drinks yourself. A brief introduction is as follows:

Three fresh drinks: 30g of fresh bamboo leaves, 30g of fresh lotus leaves and 30g of fresh mint, decocted in water for about 10 minute to get juice, and then added with appropriate amount of honey to drink tea, which can achieve the effects of promoting fluid production to quench thirst, clearing away heat and detoxifying;

Elsholtzia drinking: 10g washed Elsholtzia and 5g Magnolia officinalis are cut open with scissors, 5g white lentils are fried and mashed, put into a thermos cup, brewed with boiling water, covered tightly and soaked in warm water for one hour, and frequently drunk twice a day, so tea cannot be replaced. For summer colds, the main symptoms are fever, heavy head, fatigue and vomiting, and the effect is better.

Drinks should use cold boiled water, not tap water. Although the tap water is disinfected, it will still leave some germs.

The prepared beverage should not be stored for too long (even in the refrigerator), and it is best to prepare it on the same day, with low sweetness and acidity. Under this condition, microorganisms multiply rapidly;

When making drinks, raw materials such as sucrose, milk and starch need to be heated and sterilized first. After air cooling, a proper amount of cold water should be added and quickly put into the freezer of the refrigerator for standby, so as to avoid microbial contamination of the mixture.

Although cold drinks are very comfortable to drink, they also have a certain effect of relieving summer heat. But generally speaking, it is better to drink tea to relieve summer heat, and warm tea is an ideal drink in summer.

6. Knowledge of drinking water

If you don't get into the habit of drinking tea and don't like cold drinks, you must pay attention to the knowledge of drinking water in sweaty summer. So, what is the knowledge of drinking water?

First, don't wait for thirst before drinking water: many people's living habits are based on whether they are thirsty, which is actually unscientific. Because thirst means that the body's water is out of balance, cells begin to dehydrate, and it is too late to drink water.

Second, thirst is easy to drink: if people are thirsty, it is easiest to drink too much water at a time, which makes the stomach difficult to adapt and causes adverse consequences. The ancients advocated "don't drink too much if you don't want to be extremely thirsty", which is a scientific method to prevent thirst and choose to drink water. If you are thirsty, drink water slowly to avoid harm to your body.

Third, it is not advisable to drink more water before going to bed, because when people are asleep, the human body only maintains basic metabolism, and all kinds of metabolism are very slow, so it doesn't need too much water, and drinking too much water before going to bed is not conducive to rest at night.

Fourth, it is not advisable to drink water while eating, because drinking water while eating will scramble to talk about digestive juice, which is not conducive to the digestion and absorption of food, and will be harmful to the body in the long run.

5. Drinking water in the morning is good for health: Because drinking water in the morning can replenish the water consumed overnight, reduce blood concentration, promote blood circulation and maintain the normal level of body fluids.

Sixth, it is best to drink mineral water: because mineral water does not contain sugary water and has no stimulating effect, unlike some drinks, which are irritating, and unlike fruit juice drinks, which contain a lot of sugar. In some developed countries, people think that mineral water is the best healthy drink.
