Metaphysical words, also known as "metaphysical words", "clear talk" and "talking about metaphysics", were an atmosphere of advocating nothingness and empty talk about name and reason in Wei and Jin Dynasties. It started in Wei Dynasty and inherited the Qing Dynasty at the end of Eastern Han Dynasty. From judging characters to talking about metaphysics, taking Zhouyi, Laozi, Zhuangzi and San Xuan as the basic contents, this paper explains Confucian classics and principles with Laozi and Zhuangzi's thoughts, abandons secular affairs, and focuses on abstract Hyunri such as background, body, existence and life. By the end of the Jin Dynasty, there was a strong wind of talking about Buddhism in the Eastern Jin Dynasty in Wang Yan's generation. From the end of Han Dynasty to the discussion of metaphysics in Wei and Jin Dynasties, the content of the discussion changed with the development of the times, but the atmosphere of the discussion increased, which became the necessity of the gentry's life, and people's talents were devoted to the discussion and debate. Metaphysical topics mainly include the four theories of talent, the theory of sound and sorrow, the theory of health preservation, the debate between words and meanings, and the sentimentality or ruthlessness of saints. These metaphysical themes were basically completed from the beginning to the seven sages of bamboo forest. Tan Xuan began to cross the bamboo forest in the Western Jin Dynasty and reached its peak in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, especially in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, which was almost completely covered with Pteroceltis tatarinowii. The development of metaphysics in Wei and Jin Dynasties experienced four periods: the first period was the beginning of Cao Wei. Metaphysical scholars, represented by Wang Bi, take Yi and Lao as theoretical arguments, and advocate "valuing nothing", "words are not full of meaning" and "famous teaching comes from nature" to serve the interests of elites. The second is from the early Western Jin Dynasty to the Yuan Kang period. Metaphysics, represented by Ruan Ji and Ji Kang, the seven sages of bamboo forest, is ideologically opposed to Hewang School, and advocates "letting nature surpass it" in the relationship between Mingjiao and nature, representing the interests of the poor in cloth clothes; The third is Jin Yuankang period. Metaphysics, represented by Pei Wei, advocates "advocating reason" and opposes "emphasizing everything"; The fourth is the Jin Yongjia period. Metaphysics, represented by Xiang embroidery and Guo Xiang, is a comprehensive and complete period of metaphysics.
Historically, the evaluation of Wei's talk in past dynasties has been mixed. But on the whole, metaphysics advocates the nature of Laozi and Zhuangzi, and impacts the famous Confucianism, which is an important reason for its demise. As early as the Jin Dynasty, metaphysics was severely criticized by Confucianism. However, most of them regard metaphysics as heresy from the standpoint of maintaining ethics, especially in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, when they criticized Gu most fiercely. In addition, there are many people who, from the standpoint of exposing the hypocrisy of etiquette and law, have overturned the case for metaphysics.
