The West of the Old Base Area is a collection of local prose to interpret western Jiangxi. The author's first collection of essays, Far-shore Lights, is also about regional customs and humanities. For Xishan Township in Jiangxi Province, the author holds a stone-like simple emotion.

Li Xiaobin, male, was born in June19641kloc-0/,a native of Qin Ting town, Lianhua county, Jiangxi province, with a college degree. Member of Jiangxi Writers Association, director of Pingxiang Writers Association, member of CPPCC County Committee. Worked in Lianhua County Administration for Industry and Commerce.
