(1) Brief Introduction of Yan Zhitui and Yan Jiaxun

Xiao Chengzhi

Yan Zhitui, Zi Jie, was a famous scholar in the Northern Dynasties. He was born in Liang Wudi for about three years, and died in the 10th year of Emperor Wen of Sui Dynasty.

Yan Zhitui's life is very complicated. He used to be the right servant of Liang Xiangdong's kingdom, and then took his son Xiao Fang out of Yingzhou Town. Dabao two years in April, Hou Jing defeated Yunzhou, Yan Zhitui was imprisoned and sent to Jianye. In November of the third year of Dabao, Xiao Yi proclaimed himself emperor in Jiangling, and Yan Zhitui returned to Jiangling as assistant minister. In September of the third year of his holiness, he attacked the West Wei Jun, captured Emperor Liang Yuan in November and killed him in December. Yan Zhitui went to Beiqi. After Chen Baxian proclaimed himself emperor, Yan Zhitui became an official in Beiqi and rose to assistant minister of Huangmen. After the Northern Zhou Dynasty, the Northern Qi Dynasty was destroyed, and Yan Zhitui became an official in the Northern Zhou Dynasty, serving as an Imperial Staff Sergeant. In 58 1 year, the Northern Zhou Dynasty was Zen and Sui Dynasty, and was also called the Bachelor of Oriental Palace by the Sui King. Therefore, Yan Zhitui is a rare "tumbler" in history.
