Black adzuki bean, also known as black Mi Dou, black kidney bean, black Mi Dou and black mung bean. People often call black adzuki bean and broad bean, because they are small and black in appearance, so they are called black adzuki bean, belonging to the genus Phaseolus in the family Papilionaceae.

Mung beans, also called kidney beans, lentils and April beans, are millet crops. It is called Qingming bean in Quzhou, Zhejiang, and mung bean in some places in Sichuan and central China. It is one of the common vegetables on the table.
