Professor Deng Tietao graduated from Guangdong College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has served as deputy director and vice president of the Academic Affairs Office of Guangzhou College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, executive director of the All-China Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and deputy director of the Professional Committee of TCM Theory Arrangement of the All-China Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine. At present, he is the executive director of China Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the vice chairman of the Research Committee of TCM Theory Arrangement of China Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the honorary director of the second and third councils of China Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, the member of the Drug Evaluation Committee of Guangdong Provincial Health Department, the consultant of Guangzhou Science and Technology Committee, the visiting professor of Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the honorary professor of Liaoning College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the member of the fourth and fifth CPPCC of Guangdong Province. 1989 was listed in the World Who's Who by the World Celebrity Center in Cambridge, England. 1990 was selected as a national tutor to inherit the academic experience of middle-aged and elderly Chinese medicine experts. 1993 won the special prize of "Excellent Teachers in South Guangdong" in Guangdong Province.
Professor Deng Tietao is good at treating heart disease, and has successfully developed Guanxin Pill, Wuling Zhitong Powder and other Chinese patent medicines. Clinically, he is good at diagnosis and treatment of miscellaneous diseases in internal medicine. He is good at treating myasthenia gravis, atrophic gastritis, hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, aplastic anemia, scleroderma, rheumatic heart disease, lupus erythematosus and other multi-system diseases and intractable diseases in western medicine by using the spleen and stomach theory of traditional Chinese medicine, and has accumulated rich clinical experience. He edited books, wrote eight masterpieces and published more than 80 papers. Monographs include Doctrine Discussion and Clinical Evidence, Collection of Self-cultivation and Collection of Deng Tietao Medical Stories. Editor-in-chief of New Edition of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Practical Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Judgment of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Practical Diagnostics of Traditional Chinese Medicine, etc. 1986 began to preside over the national key project of the seventh five-year plan-clinical experimental research topic of myasthenia gravis, 1990 passed the second prize of scientific and technological progress of the state science and technology commission.
