Deep streets and lanes, the outer walls of houses covered with oyster shells, tall buildings with narrow doors, ponds passing through the street, Qingxi and buildings with blue bricks and gray tiles are all full of ancient charm ... This is an authentic Lingnan town, which truly presents us with the once prosperous life scene of Lingnan folk.
On the streets full of ancient rhyme, crossing the stone arch bridge and walking on the bluestone slab is like stepping on a time-space train and returning to that era. My aunt got on a rickshaw and my friend got on a rickshaw. I tried it with curiosity, and I took them through the alley full of folk charm with great difficulty. What comes to my mind are the skinny rickshaw drivers, the fat bodies of dignitaries and dudes, and the luxury of singing every night.
At noon, we stayed under the old banyan tree in front of the old house, and my parents accompanied me to play childhood games, watch old events and watch deja vu folk customs.
There are antique snack bars, old pharmacies, old hotels and old post offices here ... all of them were "resurrected" in this Lingnan town and took a photo in the old photo studio. My father said I looked like a small landowner.
There are also special snacks in Guangzhou, such as beef brisket powder, radish beef offal, silver silk egg noodles, bamboo tube noodles, Nanxin double skin milk, Shunde fried ice, landscape tofu flower ... I ate a bowl of fish and egg rice noodles, which was delicious, and I couldn't help admiring the chef's superb cooking skills.
In the evening, we reluctantly left Lingnan Impression Garden. A day's play brings us homesickness and a thousand-year-old culture.
