Nanjing Tianhou Palace
Nanjing Tianhou Palace is located at No.488 Shengzhou Road, Qinhuai District. It was built during the Wuyin period of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1758), donated by Cai Changyun, the magistrate of Jiangning, and officials and businessmen in Fujian, and it was a place to worship the queen of heaven. There are still inscriptions on the north wall of the existing main hall, recording the construction year of "Tianhou Palace". There are also two inscriptions on the western wall of the hatchback annex. One is the reason why the old guild hall of Ziyang Pixiang was demolished to the west gate of Shuixi, which was established in the Wuyin year of Qianlong (A.D. 1758), and the other was erected in the 17th year of Jiaqing (A.D. 18 12) with the inscription "Notre Dame" for water control. This inscription once again records that Shuiximen Tianhou Palace and Fujian Guild Hall belong to an activity place. 1982 was designated as a district-level cultural relics protection unit.

The Notre Dame belongs to the Taoist belief system of immortals. With the appeal of many Taoist believers to restore Taoist venues, and with the care and support of the leaders of the municipal and district governments and relevant departments, Tianhou Palace was officially approved as a Taoist venue in Nanjing. So that the Tianhou Palace, which has been interrupted for nearly 60 years, has removed the dust and dirt of history, and saints and virtues have been re-valued. It not only meets the needs of Taoist believers, but also adds a "Taoist" humanistic landscape to the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties.
